AvaHosting suspended my vps
I bought a promo VPS here in BFCM

to run a VPN for torrenting, because they allow VPN with 100Mbps unlimited bandwidth and DMCA Ignored
(From Ava post above)
Do you allow freedom of speech, VPN, legal adult content (+18), etc?
Yes. As long as you follow our rules and the local laws (Republic of Moldova), we allow freedom of speech, VPN.
Then, after a few days, they accused me of a DDoS attack and suspended my VPS (paid for one year), with no chance to reactivate it.
Could this be considered fraud?

Comments
Incoming attack: they are wrong.
Outgoing attack: you are wrong.
How could we know?
It could be a false positive
Or it could be that you're lying
Or, you were hacked and sent out DDoS without you knowing
Or 1000 other reasons
How this quote
is related to
is DDOS some kind of VPN or freedom of speech?
@AvaHosting why fraud?
That is not fraud.
Hello sir plese no ddos sir
Same being suspended today. They said Microsoft sent an abuse report to them that accused me to send a DoS attempt to "GET /connecttest.txt".
regards
Ok ser what bout brute and zmap?
Not allowing me to send one million SPEECH requests to a server is A SEVERE ATTACK ON MY HUMAN AND CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS OF FREE SPEECH.
same to me
There was detected a DoS attempt on host 176.123.0.130
Quote from their post about VPS sale off
This doesn't make sense?
GET http://www.msftconnecttest.com/connecttest.txt is part of normal operation in Windows 10 or later, to determine whether the computer is connected to the Internet.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/networking/internet-explorer-edge-open-connect-corporate-public-network
"Microsoft NCSI" User-Agent further confirms this point.
If the computer is connected to the Internet via VPN, the source of traffic seen on the HTTP server would be the VPN exit IP.
Running the same program with 20+ other providers, and none of them complain. They just lying because I'm using high traffic (but it's 100Mbps unlimited)
Yes, and I already showed them the same Microsoft link. But,
1 GET request/second twice every 30 mins is considered DDOS ?
I think they ban all repeated requests in host 176.123.0.130, because they can't find who did it 🤣
@AvaHosting Can you please provide some solid evidences on this matter? Or I will definitely issue a dispute on this.
Chargeback yesterday - @cybertech
I checked to see if my AvaHosting Moldova idler is still up and running, only to realize that I'm actually hosted with AvenaCloud Moldova. How the fuck one can know with so many similar names? :P
May be they just reseller
Ask them to present the evidence; it will clarify everything.
@kv1108 @ILLKX Hello, can you share your tickets IDs?
#456571
Maybe there's a network issue making Windows test the connection very often which they precieved as a DDOS attack? Weird honestly
Isn't the link dated May?
Found the post in bf
Shared IP address? So they banned everyone on that shared IP? Legit lazy.
