I've a few KS-LE-1 (GRA), KS-2 (WAW) and KS-LE-C (BHS) to transfer out. But thinking whether I should just keep them.
Yeah, you should keep them
see you in Service Transfer section... 🤠
This CPU is very good.
I think they are trying to compete with Hetzner on lower level pricing and high level performance CPU with consumer grade motherboards and drives.
Should put in on my hand if u willing to transfer for a fair price
It should be considered a better opportunity for consumers
I dont think its evening trying...OVH in the past few months has been levels above of Hetzner in deals of price/performance
Hetzner is going backwards it seems
Not a even a free setup on BF from Hetzner
Decreased bandwidth, increased prices
regards
yours for 12 million dorra
Anybody got a network lottery on the RISE-S or are you stuck with the plain jane 1Gbit network? Assuming they made these from scratch, they probably found no reason to add a 10Gbit link to these, like the recycled RISE offers.
Plain jane 1g on mine and havent seen any others with higher but its ovh theres bound to be a few 10g or more floating about
They are advertised with 2x 1Gbps so I doubt anyone get 10G, when "guaranteed" I always had 10G download but not happening with Rise-S seems like
OVH doing ovh things though, KS is advertised 300mbit but ive seen 10g duplex many times
We need gambler to find out
Reversed BF, new marketing strategy to stand out
With the one location and brand new hardware id assume they will all be 1g...but you never know
just monthly cancel whenever Rise-S is €54.99 though and EX44 is €39
34 % is quite a lot
and it's probably about 34 % better? even though that's hard to quantify
Its Hetzner though
/s
Ive became a hetzner hater recently it seems
Yes
The good thing with french providers generally is that while they're often clueless, they're quite serious about the allowed bandwidth usage, so that's in OVH's favor at the same price point
Have you paid your invoice yet? Their "Limited" stock still on 120s delivery anyway
Nah
EX44 is great for the price but for the extra money Rise-s
ECC + DDR5 + Huge CPU Increase its worth, the more comparable would be the AX52 but again rise-s wins comfortably imo
Sure but if you have an actual reason to have ECC RAM, you'd in 95% of cases need an enterprise disk to go with it
You're blindly in love sir
Obviously depends on use case but using 2x512GB enterprise drives is somewhat limiting compared to consumer drives that support ECC. Personally I think I would outgrow the 2x512GB setup fairly quickly before the time the advantages of enterprise storage become worth while I would likely have already upgraded at that point if i needed to
