well this is a bummer. I get that most providers don't open this port but I know some good deals do. So I'm in dilemma if this is a keeper or throwaway next year
dartnode's ticket processing is really slow, it's been almost two weeks and the problem still hasn't been solved, I haven't even used it properly yet
All my sub 7 dollah providers unblocked it for me after I made a proper justification. With this one i had to make sure before I placed the order so yeah, glad I did

Anyone know if the @NetDynamics24 backup plans support rsync or webdav? need somewhere to store NAS backups but can't be bothered not using Synology Hyper Backup

i can rsync to the service from my own pc but synology hyper backup no bueno with rsync wont connect to netdynamics box dunno why it's so picky
We used ServerFactory aff money to pay for ServerFactory VPS, but @heartbeat_IT won't have aff system so we may have to cancel.
We used HostBrr aff money to pay for AS200690 RIPE tax, but Blesta bug stole half of the money, so I may have to haggle with @labze next year to get the other half.
We have Webhosting24 aff account that reached threshold again, but they are not answering tickets after three days.
We have VirmAche and GreenCloud aff accounts both at near zero balance, so we have to pay for (non-)idlers at these providers, and GreenCloud 3-year plan ain't cheap.

synology wont give me shit through the webgui for hyper backup not connecting to an rsync server and if i rsync directly from the NAS while ssh'd in, it just works so idk

Patched wg-mesh now to utuilize a /23 per node, code seems to work good enough.
Have to reconfigure my entire network with 50+ Nodes though... jikes.

webdav is outdated.
If you have issues backing up with your Synology try these:
1) In case you use Ubiquity hardware: By default, Unifi will block outgoing SSH scans which apparently HyperBackup needs to do to be able to connect. You can poke a hole in the firewall and allow that internal IP through, to make it connect.
2) You might have been using the wrong path. If for example you use /backup as the target folder: the correct path should be /home/username/backup.
Our clients with Synology were able to connect with the above workarounds.
