Do I really need another $6/yr idler? Any TL;DR of that HostSailor deal, is it worth getting or they're known for overselling and stuff?
What is the meaning of all bus pictures?
No its not.
Yea sorry I can't do better
that's the best I can do
You might as well ask "what is the meaning of life?"...
It seems that there isn't much negative information about HostSailor, but there might be some stability issues, especially with HostSailor's OpenVZ VPS, which tends to have these problems. I'm not sure how stable the new hardware is. However, I now know that HostSailor's discount code is only valid for 24 hours; after that, it expires.
That’s easy, 42
Carrying the person from the previous page to the next page, different passengers intermittently board and then intermittently leave. Each page exists, but the passengers on the train are always different. In the end, it will reach the final destination of 1000 pages. Note: The conductor is @FAT32 .
🥰
Cheers @admax.
Naaaah it’s too long and deep. There should be some other reason
However, you might find some negative reviews on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.hostsailor.com. I don't know the background behind the conflict that led to these comments, so it's hard to provide a judgment. It's best to consider your options.
`### The Philosophy of the Bus: A Journey Beyond the Vehicle
At first glance, a bus is merely a mode of transportation—a metal contraption on wheels, ferrying people from one point to another. But beneath its practical function lies a deeper, more profound philosophical significance. The bus is not just a vehicle; it is a microcosm of life, a symbol of shared journeys, and a testament to the interconnectedness of humanity.
The Bus as a Metaphor for Life’s Journey
Life, much like a bus ride, is a journey with a definitive start and end. We board at a specific point, uncertain of what lies ahead, and disembark at another, leaving behind the vehicle that carried us. Along the way, the bus stops periodically, inviting new passengers aboard and letting others depart. Each stop represents the transitions in our lives—beginnings, endings, and the flux of experiences.
Passengers on a bus embody the diverse characters we encounter throughout life. Some are fleeting presences, sharing only a few moments with us. Others stay for a more significant stretch, shaping our journey in ways both subtle and profound. Yet, regardless of the duration, each person adds to the collective experience, reminding us of our shared humanity.
The Philosophy of Shared Spaces
The bus is a shared space, where individuals of varied backgrounds, cultures, and destinies coexist within a confined environment. It teaches us about compromise, tolerance, and the importance of collective harmony. On a bus, personal boundaries blur as people sit shoulder to shoulder, united by a common purpose—the pursuit of a destination.
This shared experience is a reflection of society itself. Like a bus, the world is a shared space where our actions and choices affect not only ourselves but also those around us. A bus ride, with its occasional discomforts and unexpected camaraderies, mirrors the balance of individuality and community inherent in human existence.
The Waiting and the Patience
One of the quintessential experiences associated with buses is waiting. The act of waiting, often overlooked, is deeply philosophical. It teaches patience, resilience, and the acceptance of uncertainty. Waiting for a bus is an exercise in surrendering to forces beyond our control—a practice akin to meditation.
The unpredictability of the bus schedule mirrors the unpredictability of life. The delay of a bus can be frustrating, but it also offers a moment to pause, reflect, and observe the world. In these moments, we are reminded of the value of time—not as a commodity to be hoarded but as an experience to be savored.
The Driver and the Passenger
The dynamic between the bus driver and passengers holds symbolic meaning. The driver represents authority, guidance, and responsibility, while the passengers embody trust and surrender. This relationship is a microcosm of the interplay between leaders and followers, teachers and students, or even the self and the universe.
As passengers, we trust the driver to navigate the route, overcome obstacles, and deliver us safely to our destination. Yet, we remain responsible for our own readiness—knowing when to board, when to alight, and how to navigate the world beyond the bus.
Conclusion: Beyond the Wheels
A bus is more than a utilitarian object; it is a moving canvas of human interaction and a vessel for philosophical exploration. Every bus ride is a lesson in transience, connection, and the art of coexistence. It reminds us that life’s journey, like a bus ride, is not just about reaching the destination but about experiencing the ride itself.
So, the next time you step onto a bus, take a moment to reflect. Observe the faces around you, feel the rhythm of the journey, and embrace the quiet wisdom of the bus—a humble yet profound teacher of life.`
Everyone asking what's the meaning of them but nobody's asking how's the meaning of all the bus pictures
They didn't post anything on LET after late 2021 until now. I've seen some comments12 and they doubled RAM for someone after offer window.
Haven't seen @dev_vps's Windows VPS yet.
Yea, I mean $6 is $6. Most of those complaints seem to be related to their domain registration department but overall I've seen positive comments here on LET. I'm a sucker for cheap deals and I still haven't set up my black friday servers yet.
I agree, it does look a bit sus and unsustainable. Thanks for the heads up.
I managed to not order. Their lack of communication, weird bugs and sloppy attitude towards quality controlling ISO's made it possible. It was a close call though.
Edit: Also the network issues, as well as the IPv6 issues (I don't care about IPv6 but having it properly configured if you offer it is a good sign)
What was your username before @Ramsterdam?
They have been around for a long time though (which makes the weird OS stuff even worse IMO)
@kalimov622 (see https://web.archive.org/web/20221129003521/https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/182931/hostcram-1gb-ram-vps)
I haven't paid the order yet, with all those payment methods you'd think they have Stripe too but most likely I'll get one anyway at least as a test.
kalimov622 if I remember correcty but it had no special meaning really. I just randomly saw it while browsing the internet at the moment I created my LET account, apparently it has eastern european origins or something like that. I just never cared to change it or register a different account lol.
thanks mr web digger
But that $6 VPS was the best I've seen this year. Not CPU nor RAM but that 30GB disk makes the thing capable of hosting something meaningful.
@lukast__ don't expose me like that!
Page 958, comment 26.
Yes, if you have an actual purpose for it, it's probably worth giving it a chance to try it out at least. The drawbacks I mentioned were just enough for me not to buy it, but I don't have any actual use for it either.
@emgh will regret it later on, we all know this already. Price still doesn't beat my $5.95/yr 1GB RAM KVM from @heartbeat_IT or the $4/yr 2C/2GB one from Terabit though.
