Nectup private lan offers 100mbits speed for free, which cannot be used for any production workloads.

yeah but the 100mbit are free of charge. if you need more bandwidth on a private vlan between your virtual machines then book a faster one and pay for it.

I mean, what are you complaining about ? Other companies don't even offer a private vlan at all. most people will be fine with 100mbit private network between their own machines.
But if needed you can book i think up to 2.5gbit/s private vlan. i'm not sure. the 100mbit is enough for the traffic between my 3 virtual servers.

Why are you get offended. I told my reason for using hetzner for production. We connect a lot of things through private network. Like Database clusters, Search engine cluster etc. Problem is concurrent traffic.

    Thx~
    Netcup RS?

They only give 100 mbits for private network, if you want more its paid. I don't know without private network how some one can setup some db clusters, search clusters etc.

BTW, what's the private network speed on Hetzner Cloud? 1gbps?

10gbps and iam getting above 5gbps. Using cloud instances.

We were looking at this particularly because, we have search clusters running with 5 nodes connected with local network where TB's of data are stored, with 100 mbps, you cannot even go beyond 200 concurrent users. When we size the the infra we should consider peak traffic and also should keep some extra in case of traffic burst. Unlike DB connections, search clusters need good bandwidth as we store entire things for full text search and the search results should have millisecond latencies.

I am seeing the IO speed not fast enough.
Since this is US nodes, I could see the performance of SingleCore could top of and pass over 2000 score

Try Nuremberg or Vienna, 1800 - 1900 is the existing.
I am seeing decrease of performance..

    For the Upstream Speed,
in Nuremberg you will get 2Gbps ++ Upstream Speed all over Europe, also to US around 2Gbps.
I am seeing this is also decrease of performance

Why isn't their IO speed fast? is it due to older nvme drives?
