You are enticing me now Frankie, there will be chaos...

chaos is a good thing, right ?

It depends if we are competing or not...

Just with everyone else. It's time for you to win one of these.

Trk is fine with the iPad, he's not into the top prize hehe. right @trk ?

You people are already distributing gifts? :p :D

Yah, like last year, we guys are deciding gifts beforehand, so that, it doesn't turn dirty.

So what you people decided to give me? :D

How does the dedi sound to you  ?

That'll become a white elephant for me. :D

I wonder if it's convertible to credits.
Hello @dustinc is the #4 (dedi server) prize convertible to credits? this question has been on our minds for a while and I’m surprised no one has asked you yet.

If not, it will become a gift no one wants. (unless the renewal price is kind of flash sale) :p

Renewal at $55 /m, launch your own cheap nat kvm service and earn easy money.

Frobsy patron provider sounds fun

It does, do some $3 /y deals and you are sold.

How many do I need to sell to be profitable?
I'll sell nat vps to torture you all. I still didn't figure out the VPN thing on that nat vps. I gave up

How come wireguard works perfectly on NAT VMs, as for how many just keep selling, sell like double the ram and you are perfectly fine for some overselling.

Do I need to use iptables? I'll be right back. food time :D

It depends, I will just go with ufw.

Last time I used ufw, I ended up losing ssh access.... Now I have to reinstall the system again and it's not automated

Why not go into vnc console... And whitelist ssh port from there?

I tried that but the no vnc isn't responding to my keyboard input, did I miss installing some critical service when installing ubuntu?

RN? If not on english qwerty keyboard it might not work as expected as for installing, if you do manual installation see if the qemu guest agent was installed.

Nah it's not racknerd, Actually RN has one of the best panels I tried. I'll try to change my keyboard to qwerty, that sounds promising! and yeah, I didn't install qemu guest agent, only did ssh & basic server.

UFW is my go to. Never used any of those advanced ones yet. Are they any good, or should I stick with UFW? BTW, yah, most people just reinstall, as they forget VNC is an option.

Without qemu guest agent your vm can't communicate properly with host machine. But host side vnc should still work, what's the error on vnc or is it just stuck at plain login screen.

I tried with querty but same thing, nothing.
It's plain screen, nothing on it.

it looks like it's to do with qemu agent...
