UFW is my go to. Never used any of those advanced ones yet. Are they any good, or should I stick with UFW? BTW, yah, most people just reinstall, as they forget VNC is an option.

UFW is easy. I use it too.

I can't use that script, it requires ubuntu 22 and I'm only on 20 legacy. Does that script sets up the port forwarding thing?

Without qemu guest agent your vm can't communicate properly with host machine. But host side vnc should still work, what's the error on vnc or is it just stuck at plain login screen.

Why are you on Ubuntu 20 though? I am always using Debian it's small, and ofcourse you setup port rules and everything from that single script, actually you can just browser the code and port it for 20, easy.
