Which provider has DirectAdmin Lifetime License similar to Inception?

Its hard to find similar to Inception, im also looking one

DirectAdmin has withdrawn these licenses consequently Clouvider (and through extension - Inception Hosting) has also withdrawn these licenses. - that is why it's no longer an option.

afaik, they’ve withdrawn new purchases of these licenses, not existing licences. Would it not be possible to continue these for existing customers?

The words included by DirectAdmin when announcing the termination of this deal to us were "for the life of their server rental" and we respect our agreements.

Aren't those discontinued legacy licenses now tied to the existing IP and can't be moved around?

I've never used DirectAdmin, but if that was true, I wonder how it was handled when some of us were moved to a new IP range earlier in the year. Clouvider's "life of the server rental" sounds fairer than "tied to existing IP".

Fair enough - it’s only a matter of time either way. No issues with IH otherwise and will replace it will a Clouvider VPS.

It seems that way, but if that’s the case I’m unsure how BuyVM and a small number of others can still offer this.

  • Still more than four weeks to January 15th, but they have obviously started to close some VPS nodes. Fortunately, I took a backup dump of my little test server the day I heard about the future and now, just after a week, it is not responsive any more. I also have some money left on my credit balance, and one running instance that I paid for a year two weeks ago. The ticket system does not need to be in good shape, either, at least today.

The way they are handling the closedown job does not make me miss them.

  • Why did you pay for another year after they'd already announced they were ceasing operations?

So a month ago they say they will be closing shop, and then 2 weeks after that announcement - you decided to pay for another year of service?
    ....why?
What is the expected outcome here?
