Fact: You can never have enough idlers!

I want a KS-A as an idler though...

Are they from OVH? I think I've seen a thread some time back.

    Yeah ovh KS-A, for €5 /m it's a deal one shouldn't miss.

You got any? What are the confi for that?

nope, i want to get one though. the specs are 6700k, 64GB DDR4, 480GB SSD sata, 100mbit unmetered, the only limiting factor is 100mbit uplink...

wow.. all this config for 5Euros? Thats like a deal to keep forever.

Yeah, and I haven't had any ovh in my collection, maybe this could be the first one to have, well only if it's in stock or someone is willing to transfer that to me

sending you yabs for the $6 datidea in DM this one is good...

Wow. Those yabs are impressive. BF deal? With that price you can easily maintain a global cluster with some of these. 👍

Yeah it's insane the only issue is the geolocated ip the server isn't in EU 😂😂

Where is it then? How much is the ping for you?

It's in Texas, 280-400ms from my ISP and 250-270ms to my HYD node.

It varies that much? Thats wayy high. My RN US vpss are around 250 to 300ms. LA-DA2 is only exception with around 220.

My ISP is that bad  the nodes have better routing and connectivity, i am mostly getting high pings on my ISP. Well can't do anything unless i switch or have them announce my ASN which is due for deletion in 4 Days

    Is it jio? :D

Nope, it's one of three fiber line operators in my area, and when i say 3 you can't have big wigs here. Imo excitel have GC like 2 KMs away but i don't want to manage the fiber line that long, or maybe i should get something like airfiber for redundancy but then again, if no bridge mode i will have it disconnected in a day or to, I love using my Netgear instead of their cheap DNS logger router+modem thing.

You've to pay for the fiber? here they charge like that if the line is too long.

I have two connections for redundecy from different providers. I didicated one connection to my family (they always stream youtube, esp kids). Another one I use personally for work.

They have no presence in my locality, so if I want a connection from them I gotta either wait for them to expand or have my own cable where they can patch up their uplink, that's how it works. I had two connection till last year both of em were on same network so just had to discount one. The airfiber is appealing imo though.

Similar situation for us. I once went to BSNL office to disconnect dsl broadband, and opt for fiber connection. They asked me to bring 5 more customers from my locaiton to give me a new fiber conneciton. :p

Yeah it happens, but i have my own cable running till the main road, and can probably patch up with any provider who has a GC nearby but most of them are either reselling the same network or just BSNL(that too isn't any good for me). My next bet is with a new provider with some recently registered ISP but their network is unstable(was getting 150ms to my HYD node) unless they fix their messed up network i ain't going with them.

    Whats your count?

  • @xpress7 said: You start your own ISP in your area. :D

Yeah no, handling IRIN and NIXI is a pain to deal with. And ofcourse i am a no log guy so policies will interfere and i will get my license revoked in a month or two.

@xpress7 said: May be they were waiting for TrK, got the oppurtunity and immediately fulfilled it. :p

That's what i thought, given doing rDNS, and writing back on the ticket about it's processed, surely they were active on IP DNS page apart from the ticket center.

The support is awesome, I don't usually contact support unless it has to do with rDNS or canceling an order.
