I'd say myvpsnetworks. Weirdest host I ever tried. First time I asked for a refund ever :D lets see how they handle that after the weekend.

I was planning to order the 9$ nat, but changed my mind after looking at their website. Seemed to me they made it within an hour just to share some BF deals.

Just did a quick check on 3 HostSlick VPS that I bought during BF last year

    • 1 of them got cancelled without any replacement earlier than the due date (albeit promised to keep until due date)
    • 1 of them have conflict IP address (Multiple VPS share the same IP, everytime I run ssh it could route to different VPS)
    • 1 of them have the wrong specs (Bandwidth and speed)

I guess HostSlick is really not a provider to be taken seriously of.

(Cross-posted on HostSlick thread as well)

    https://hostslick.rip
It's called Hosts Lick for a reason.

Some VM from last BF were unusable, so I had to cancel them. So, this year I just looked for another providers.

Anyway I was looking to lower the budget. So, not a big issue for me. Just a signal.

    Nope

    You?

I believe they said a week, so I guess today is the first day that it’s delayed.

I haven’t yet but just got a message from SilverCreek and expecting an invoice next week for it. Imagine last week was very busy for them.

Thinking 6/6/66 will be my deal of BF2024 when all is said and done. Happy to wait a bit.

Just saw the site. Well, my experience was the same. The service wasn't provided, but he publicly claimed all services had been delivered, and still creating a new offer thread.

They reply the ticket with "If you have any other questions or inquiries, please let me know!" and then my account disappeared.

I have a strong feeling that @HostSlick is a one-man show, and he's been pushing a lot of sales recently. Is he planning "something"?

    Same experience
1st try storage offer: unusable. Floppy disk read / write speed.
Refunded. First time I ask for a refund.

    Then ordered christmas offer.
Since the beginning I spotted weird IO delay.
But It was okayish for the price I paid.
It worked for a few months. Although IO.
Then first data corruption that only affected my server on the node. I tell him that one or more disks are having problems and have been since the beginning.
    According to him, no.
A week later, the node crashed and data was lost again. New IP address, I reinstall again.
Then the same thing again a few weeks later.

In short, I decided not to spend the credit I had. Too much headache.

He's honest. It reimbursed or compensated for the many problems I encountered.

I just hope he manages to scale while maintaining a certain level of quality. Because in my experience, that's not the case.
