@xenstar - @emgh is correct - it doesn't do load balancing, but with the $6 entry fee, you can connect any number of servers to the control panel and pay only per website (as I mentioned I think $6 will support 30 or so websites).
for nginx i can recommend cloudpanel, for openlitespeed i can suggest cyberpanel+openlitespeed
no problem...i just didn't want to pollute the thread...but okay....
its 5$ = 33 websites
All correct. Deploy it on a server. Takes 10 seconds. It answers all questions
This is a recurring topic. What amazes me is that it is so easy to install Wordpress and configure it, if WP is all you want, why do you need a panel?
See my post on RunCloud on page #2
And
Setting up stuff without logging into each site’s wp-admin, such as incremental backups in RunCloud’s case
Easy migration between RunCloud servers is another
Setting up a stage env with just a few clicks
Creating a self signed SSL cert with basically 1 click
Very easily run several PHP versions using their containerization
Etc
+1 CloudPanel
been using HestiaCP for past few years now, perfect for me.
Control web panel also good with just $ 12/year charges
I use for some time Cloudpanel, didnt had any issues with it
months ago cyberpanel are getting hacked. today cloudpanel creator just announce "accounts being compromised due to a vulnerability in CloudPanel." . sad, there is no good and secure free panel .
wow. that's bad. should i just stick with cloudways?
You should always lock down the admin interface no matter what panel you are using. If you throw CloudPanels UI behind CloudFlare Zero Auth you will still be fine. You should never assume that any panel is secure and do the same for Plesk/Cpanel/etc unless you absolutely can’t for some reason (reselling).
Just go with Enhance Control Panel and never look back. Really strong for its pricing.
What is a viable solution for NextJS dynamic sites and nodejs backends?
cloudstick is good, they have many feature and security
but they don't have external backup, you must use their backup service.
You may use Render.com
or if you want to go with self hosted solution - Coolify
I think Coolify is good when you need vertical scaling. And it needs more technical knowledge.
cyberpanel vs cloudpanel ? here is a latest test i did on same 2 gb upcloud server with Twenty Twenty-Four wordpress theme.
i moved to xcloud.host. Love it..
Hi, is there any demo available for the xcloud control panel?
What features did you consider when selecting this panel?
Thanks
For wordpress use cyberpanel and do few tweaks change ssh port , change cyberpanel port , close unnecessary ports, enable key login and write protect all folders except media uploads folder to improve security, switchoff ftp server open when u want to upload files and you will be good to go
Well for xcloud, I didn't have to do anything like that. It handled by the script. Because I was using cloudways, I wanted something which is atleast similar to that. I think xcloud is most closest to cloudways for now, as they only focus on wordpress hosting, optimization and security.
You can check their website xcloud.host. they have a free version.
