Anyone got some quick tip for how I realize if I fucked the EX44 or if it's bad?
Basically everything's corrupted, like 20 % of commands can be executed the rest gives segfaults etc
If I were to reinstall it, and stuff works, that means it was my fault or that's not a guarantee of that?

Some kind of that commands can work, some doesn't. If @emgh is lucky, maybe check the 'history' just to make sure if any file system are (not) fucked up.
I shut it down yesterday, now it doesn't boot back up. Wanted to try the commands again to make sure I didn't miss anything but seems tough. Especially with no IPMI.
Will see if anything occurs within the next 10 minutes otherwise I'll try rescue.

Hetzner don't like customization as it requires admin time (my conclusion based on their insane prices for extra stuff even though their base configs are cheap)
They'd prefer you use default options
The EX101 is the enterprise version of the EX44, a faster CPU is the most noticeable difference, but drives go from consumer to enterprise and RAM from non-ECC to ECC as well
OVH seems to treat upgrades (most of them, not the obscure ones) as equal configs that should all be in stock most of the time
Hetzner only automates default configs and requires hands-on for custom stuff, probably much more streamlined this way

I saw a git from 2 days ago that Advance line up will get possibility to directly swap hardware then choose when it will be done via dashboard (it's only possible atm for their top of the line)
