I’m pretty sure @jar has servers in the EU (that’s where I’m currently hosted at). Perhaps it’s full, and he is going full US since that’d be more convenient him in case anything goes wrong.
It’s also less likely that we’ll wake up one morning to an entire fleet of servers being terminated with 48 hours to move multiple TBs of data. Less likely that the police will seize servers for something we’re innocent in. Just all around our police have to jump through larger hoops, our providers care more about our success. It’s safer long term. In terms of data safety and security, home is where the heart is.
I’m not abandoning the EU but I’m not risking it all there either.
@jar Hey just a quick question
is the Outbound Per Hour:400
is that:
per email account / email domain / for the whole account
I see its the same limit for the 500gb / 1tb deals
Thanks
It's per email account. All I ask is that you don't create email accounts purely to circumvent the limit. But if you had, for example, website registration emails running 400 per hour and password reset emails running 400 per hour, both being sent from different email accounts, that's fair game.
Thanks great deal and grabbed a 1tb- will be using for actual small business email accounts - have other setups for transactional email sending so should not hit the limits
Got last year $15 triennially plan.Never had any issue even if I don't use it that much.
Got now the 100GB to support Jar!Thank you for all your efforts!
Looking forward to seeing everyone flock back here after realizing that there's a reason MXRoute is the go-to, and will continue to be the go-to.
and hey @redis, in case you were wanting to test SMTP without having to ask for permission...
I think he might be using a warmup service though which we don’t allow.
Everyone knows what happens to spammers at MXRoute
No warmup / No quarter
True. I have been watering my account since 2015 for great days ahead.
Hey, is this recurring discount or only for the first billing cycle?
It's recurring offer
Decided to finally try MXroute after been hearing about Jar for 2 years in this forum.
Love super detailed how to setup dns and everything, even got a video for Cloudflare setup, nice client ui, cannot ask more for 15$ per 3 years
Oh hell, couldn't resist. Added another 500GB to the 400GB (300GB + 100GB) I already have.
I subscribed to the 3-year plan and was pleasantly surprised when my emails landed in the inbox on both Microsoft and Gmail. Usually, Microsoft is overly strict with emails. A delightful discovery!
You just made me worry about anything I might have stored in Europe. They like to advertise privacy but the risk of data loss is a different slant.
Embarking on a new email journey, thanks @jar and the team.
Sadly no but living, thank you!
Me when signing up: I wonder how many people read the "Important Account Information" email?
The BF Small plan sold out?
I'm gonna toss just a few more down. Sold 500 of them though!
I'm pretty sure one of them is my friend. He is used to mainstream email hosting services so when I introduced MXRoute by referring to this BF offer, he couldn't believe the prices.
Thank you for providing great email service @jar.
Thank you. Finally got one.
Lmao! I couldnt resist too! I dont need it and probably never going to use it but it was too good to pass it’
Haha
As I said earlier, I grabbed a 100GB package for myself and a 400GB for work..
There are definitely quirks to the service, but manageable.
Right now, trying to figure out how to migrate my personal Exchange server to MXRoute.. For the work account, trying to find a way around TLS issues with sendmail.. It refuses to switch to plain-text transfers..
hi, @jar
