    Yeah, that's not Virmach level :D

    2 years ago I got their black Friday but somehow ordered 2 by mistake. Put in a ticket requesting to cancel the extra one. After 3 months the ticket was answered and I was refunded. I have mixed feelings about virmach at this point :D I had actually even forgotten about the ticket when I got the refund.

    Anyway, no offers from @RickBakkr this year? Was also on my list :)

    Thanks for your concerns Freek!

    We had something awesome in the works. However, given that LET, and as such also our BF/CM/whatever deals is basically fully my department, and I was out for a few weeks after a loss at the beginning of November, we did not get round to it this year.

    That being said, for those really desperate to join our family, we can offer last year's deal at last year's price - there were very little cancellations, so slots are somewhat limited :-). Please register a customer account and open a ticket to order.

    Edit 11:44, now that first orders are in ... please add in your ticket your preferred operating system, so we can pre-install it for you and deliver the quickest possible.

    OBHost: $120/yr 8GB Ryzen KVM in The Netherlands

    • 4 x vCPU Ryzen 9 7950X3D
    • 8GB DDR5 RAM
    • 80GB SSD
    • Unlimited @ 10Gbps
    • 1 IPv4 + /112 IPv6
    • Location: The Netherlands
    • $120/yr

    image

    Seems good to me for the price.

    Too bad it doesn't have IPv6 (should have /112) and nested virtualization is not enabled.

    I opened a ticket with support, waiting for their reply. Will let you know when I have a response.

    Otherwise, Virtualizor console is OK, with VNC, rDNS and custom ISO, so good point on that.

    @yoursunny
    @OBHost

    So after support responds to my tickets (on a Sunday !), I now have nested virtualization enabled and IPv6 working !

    So off to a very good start with @OBHost !

    And I received an email yesterday saying their promo are still available ;-)

    Here is an updated YABS:

    We had something awesome in the works. However, given that LET, and as such also our BF/CM/whatever deals is basically fully my department, and I was out for a few weeks after a loss at the beginning of November, we did not get round to it this year.

    That being said, for those really desperate to join our family, we can offer last year's deal at last year's price - there were very little cancellations, so slots are somewhat limited :-). Please register a customer account and open a ticket to order.

    Unrelated but how has your experience with hetrixtools been, I've been meaning to setup a uptime monitor for all my VPSes for a loooong time now but I have an aversion to non self-hosted solutions due to irrational privacy concerns. All the self-hosted solutions don't seem too good either. :sweat_smile:

    I wasn't among the cancellations, and good to see that they were limited anyway. Not a surprise really though - happy with the VPS and support (in the few cases it was needed).
