We'll have a more "normal" offering on Cyber Monday itself. Grab these while they're hot, I'm not likely to do this again.
You're insane
Great deal. Don’t need 100GB, or heaven forbid more, but that’s a killer deal for those wanting the capacity.
Yup. Waiting for @jar to show same love to small fishes who are okay with 10-25Gb storage
BF2024 Small is 10GB for $15 Triennially, so $5/yr. That is quite honestly an insane price for what @jar offers.
Agreed; but there’s been history of 3$ triennially for 10GB. And I am sure @jar is in the mood to break the competition and make new history
So let’s see what he will pull out of his magic hat 🎩
If we get any surprise deals that’s great in the spirit of BF/CM, but competing on price in the extreme low end is never going to end well for anyone. For what @jar provides, it’s already extremely good value.
I am sure he is smart like he always has been and limit the promo subscriptions to small number of customers. Plus many who get these smaller plans are hobbyists like me who may not even use it to 30% of the advertised capacity.
Making sales now on hardware that sits idle waiting for 1-2 sales on them every month or so means it’ll take quite a number of years to feel any pain from it. By that time overhead costs typically shrink and ability to subsidize any old unprofitable promotions has only increased. I’m well equipped for a cold winter. Great things in the pipeline.
So...are you a ski bunny or a yeti?
I’m wearing a thong, you do the math
So...you're neither, you're just overdressed?
Mxroute completing a decade and still not needing to go back on sold promos is testament to your planning & execution.
Correct me if I am wrong in following assumption.
Adding to what you stated - email is a bit hard for someone to abuse like storage. If it’s a storage plan or just a VPS - there’s potential that the end user can potentially max out the advertised plan quickly by uploading something.
But when it comes to email - it’s kinda hard to max out on purpose unless someone is literally spamming / automating it. Maintenance / overhead isn’t exponentially increased with # of accounts on file as it’s mostly transmission volume that matters and not number of customers.
There are ways on storage but no worries, I’ve got it to spare 💜
Reoccurring?
Always 💜
Friendly reminder that while I’m succeeding in improving UX this year, it is still necessary to read the “Important Account Information” email 💜
Thank you
&&&hope to see more FLASHY DEALSMOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I grabbed a 100GB for my own mail and 400GB for work.
Migration will be interesting, but it always is.
Thank you @jar
Look at me, using mxroute for over a year and not even sending or receiving 5 emails through it. Completely idling. Even though I hardly ever need to send emails from my domains, and even if I did, free versions of so my mailing services would have been perfectly enough, even with the crappy directadmin UI where I have no idea how to recover my xxxx.mxrouting.net:2222 password if I ever lost it, I am still here because seeing mxroute in my mx records in domain dns queries makes me feel better. You have certainly built the reputation.
Thanks for your hard work on mxroute. However, can we get an additional offer for Cyber Monday ($10/3 years)?
💜
Also just for reference https://mxroutedocs.com/directadmin/resetpass/ 😉
Rookie.
I've paid my invoices for ... actually I don't know ... and I've not even set it up. So I don't even have DNS records to show my appreciation.
It still makes me feel good (and of course after the recent webhosting take over and support) it makes me feel even better.
Yeah i had already gone through the docs. Problem is I don't see any other options except service details and request cancellations.
That’s weird. The options were labeled as on, but not visible. Fixed.
@jar I saw someone post this in another thread, but is it possible to have emails that are addressed to specific subdomain (like twinkletoes.mydomain.com) automatically redirected to a specific inbox (like [email protected] or [email protected]) or autoflagged as spam?
works now. thanks
