That's a man I respect. I have been strictly trying to avoid idling of VPSes as well. For one, its a waste of money, and then, it's a waste of resources, given someone else who could definitely put it to use, cause someone who might or might not have a use for it decided to grab it.

Quite portfolio you have there mate, I am curious about few things, the backup server, home server and mom's server. Care to explain if you don't mind that is? And what did you paid for the storage Servers?

  • I am also interested in knowing how you manages all of these?

nahhh i just call it that way
    here is backstory:
its a important server i got here: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/169649/need-ultra-affordable-vps-0-5-2gb-europe#latest
    dustin saved my ass

later i created my own quart api
it was used for my discord bots, and projects in general
when i was getting donations i would enter the users there alongside with as many details as i want, then other programs, anything from minecraft mods, minecraft server to discord bots and livestream scripts would query the api (i even had esp32 do http requests hehe) as get donator info and give benefits on that platform
for example, in my minecraft game "swedish disasters" (sadly dead, no players... i enjoyed it sooo much) all players would have red concrete blocks, donators would be able to choose the color, later i think i did different blocks
also when you would join, it would say, "this game session was sponsored by NAME" or "NAME sponsored this and many sessions, make sure he does NOT win" or "XYZ is currently LIVE on twitch, join and say hi twitch.tv/whatever"

these messages would go to not only discord, minecraft but again, any project i built...

my api also handled my own dockerhub authentication

also at sme point the api even was used to restream from my pc to twitch and yt at the same time

    i did many projects
also had? or have? vscode in browser installed there, so i coded on it

oracle vm, fully given to my buddy
oracle vm, minecraft server (dead, will decomission)
racknerd api - lots of apis and bots (thinking to rebuild..... pain)
racknerd reseller hosting, fully gave away, still like 5 slots free... dm me if someone needs
racknerd flash sale deal, deployed school and personal projects
    myw email
    mxroute email
provider redacted backups 500gb- could host something but dont want
provider redacted backups 1500gb - could host something but dont want

then ofc home server 50-80% util and moms server... (backups and wireguard)

That's a lot of projects there. I am interested as to what you mean when you say racknerd api. Is is the RackNerd server control API or, a product API that RackNerd has.

nahhh i just call it that way
    here is backstory:
its a important server i got here: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/169649/need-ultra-affordable-vps-0-5-2gb-europe#latest
    dustin saved my ass

later i created my own quart api
it was used for my discord bots, and projects in general
when i was getting donations i would enter the users there alongside with as many details as i want, then other programs, anything from minecraft mods, minecraft server to discord bots and livestream scripts would query the api (i even had esp32 do http requests hehe) as get donator info and give benefits on that platform
for example, in my minecraft game "swedish disasters" (sadly dead, no players... i enjoyed it sooo much) all players would have red concrete blocks, donators would be able to choose the color, later i think i did different blocks
also when you would join, it would say, "this game session was sponsored by NAME" or "NAME sponsored this and many sessions, make sure he does NOT win" or "XYZ is currently LIVE on twitch, join and say hi twitch.tv/whatever"

these messages would go to not only discord, minecraft but again, any project i built...

my api also handled my own dockerhub authentication

also at sme point the api even was used to restream from my pc to twitch and yt at the same time

    i did many projects
also had? or have? vscode in browser installed there, so i coded on it

Thanks for taking the time to explain. I am impressed with what you were able to achieve. A custom built Quart API to deal/kinda reward your donors with postback to rest of your projects, to say the very least, to code them might have been a huge project, in itself. I wish to have your level of expertise someday.
Sad that your Minecraft server couldn't continue. Personally, I haven't played Minecraft before.
Also, I was confused when you said RackNerd API. I thought you were talking about a RackNerd product API with latest offers and prices. Been looking for those for quite some time now. Know that they don't exist. Only after I commented did I notice that you were commenting with a pattern: Provider - Project.

    Discord bot
    Web project
    Bot
    Scraper

    Whatever you want really
Then code it up, ask me how i would approach it

    Important
