Document the homelab, the decisions you made, what you learned, why you went with what you did, write out a DRP, most of it would show up via some sort of writing, you cant really show off SysAdmin as simple as a software dev would show off a project.

The most paying job anywhere in the world is in management, yup that's right, tech industry has a good pay scale but the experienced person would go in administration if one get the chance. Here's an example a tech company hires a CEO and pay him the most in company for not being a developer but being good in management.

If only that one was paid monthly, still they snatched it the second it floated. I'm too slow for that thread, wasted like 2hours and got nothing

Experience is key. Get your hands dirty with the technology you want to learn such as RHEL. Break stuff, fix it. READ THE DOCUMENTATION. Build out a homelab is also a good idea

Document the homelab, the decisions you made, what you learned, why you went with what you did, write out a DRP, most of it would show up via some sort of writing, you cant really show off SysAdmin as simple as a software dev would show off a project.
