Alright let’s see what he says.

The more, the better.
+1 on increasing that domain count, even just a bit. 5 is not quite enough, 10 would give some breathing room without a bunch of domain redirects, 15 is ideal. This is just someone with super-low usercount and mail volume, but a handful of domains they need to receive mail for.
+1 on increasing the domain count too lol
Hi @Francisco, when can we expect to see those multi year discount emails?
I bought the MXRoute deal yesterday and grabbed a lifetime deal for the free emClient
So when are the deals coming?
How do you like eM? I’ve not used it but people in the beta discord seem to like it. Built in PGP which is neat.
Francisco
Give Mike a bit to work on it. He was up all night hammering through tickets and the likes.
Francisco
I like it a lot. Granted I only use it to aggregate mails from different domains / services, and use conversational views.
I was originally using Windows Mail, then MS deprecated that and tried Outlook, Thunderbird and Mailbird for a while. I ended up on emClient, bought a couple lifetime update business licenses and feel more comfortable using this client than others.
P.S. I do not like their mobile version. For some reason it always have incomplete mail state sync (archive on one device and won't sync to others etc, the mail sync is fine)
what did i miss?
Come on! 💪Looking forward to your good news.
Did not see any password popup - and I tried several times.
Also on the details page>>> domain section, it shows reseller# 18*** with a link "Visit Website" That does nothing but take me to http://reseller-18**** which of course is not a valid website.
Giving up on this and already canceled my service. Be nice if there had been some minimal documentation beforehand.

I'm sorry, can you please PM me the full domain? I'm a bit confused where it's sending you.
For the most part it's like you'd setup any mail service. You lookup the DNS records that are listed in the portal and it should just work. You can access the node direct or you can use the SSO portal if you want.
All I can think is maybe your ISP is still flagging the workspace.org domain. It sat unused for a long time and was instead being run through godaddy's redirect spam crap.
https://crane.email goes to the same system.
Let me know, I can spot you a month on the service and help you get going due to whatever frustration you had.

Something wrong with the payment on the lifetime email, keep hitting fraud alerts..
What happens when one runs out of storage space and needs more in the lifetime plan? Will it seamlessly switch to a recurring bill when adding storage space?
I'm just a little confused on what to expect in the web interface for file management. Is there a typical file and folder hierarchy?
Mike has talked about allowing stacking. I dunno if that’s changed but that’d probably be the option.
The file storage has a file tree. You can make folders, put files in them. Files can then be shared, similar to nextcloud.
Francisco
you can try to use Alipay or Crypto payment.
The fake domain thing is no longer needed. I removed the order time domain request and updated the welcome email.
I’ll add some more to it tonight.
Francisco
I added my primary domain to the new email service (did not move MX over since the current domains are with Google Workspace). The eMClient free licenses are with a company called SmarterTools and a verification code need to send to your PostMaster@domain. For organizations using Google Workspace, please note that Postmaster@ is reserved account and will require you to create a postmaster@ group on Google Admin portal & add one user to it to receive emails (emails prior to the user joining WOULD NOT be available).
Back to the eMClient license:
You will be able to manage the license on your email portal, and it's a eMClient "one-time purchase" business license with one year of VIP support and three devices allowance. You could add additional devices slots and it's a bit cheaper. The catch is the limited support length (totally expected) and no major upgrade. For example, currently eMClient is on version 10, so you have free software updates for the duration of version 10, and will need to pay a fee to upgrade your license to version 11 (or whatever the future version is).
This is a great deal for people who wants/currently use eMClient, and quite extraordinary for lifetime plans. Three devices personal "one-time purchase" license costs $59.95 (or ~$30 on Black Friday sale). Three devices business "one-time purchase" license costs $169.95 (or ~ $85 on Black Friday sale).
Additional seats: $22.5 per additional device.
VIP support extension: $30 per year.
Lifetime upgrade (three devices): $205.
Please make it 15 domains for the lifetime plan
+1 for 15 domains!
Done. We will mass adjust all users that have already signed up.
Outgoing emails has been put to 600/h to help the business accounts. This will be done a little later tonight, but all new services will have this going forward.
Francisco
We will also make it so additional domains are a purchasable addon. A one time fee maybe? I will make the code changes tonight for this.
Francisco
What about those who take 100gb for 3 years?
Mike will adjust plans and we will mass adjust.

@Francisco & @NameCrane
Be careful about lifetimes as a business model. LET has seen many providers fall because of it.
Be careful about spammers. LET has many abusers waiting around the corner.
Sometimes events like Black Friday can shadow our judgement. Lifetimes need to be rare and in extremely limited quantity, just enough to generate marketing; otherwise it can be considered as pure greed for fast gain.
This is just my opinion, during a worldwide recession.
Absolutely.
The lifetimes are just us having a bit of fun for Black Friday. With that being said, if all we sold was lifetimes we would still be great. We documented in the 3rd post that all LT cash is invested to make sure there’s always “new money”.
All but Jarland used the lifetime cash as their primary funding source, so when their sales slowed down or a price increase came about, they’re hooped. Jarland goes as far as to either ramp up the price or stops selling them to make sure it doesn’t get out of hand.
We collocate everything though so our costs are quite static and 1/10th of what it would cost to rent these nodes. A full rack with power costs about as much as it would to rent 1 or 2 of these.
Thanks for the concern
Francisco
I do trust you guys very much and when your campaign came up I didn't hesitate to buy it, but your staff told me that I can't use Impersonate now. i feel sad and hope to support it soon. 😊😊
Thanks to yourself and the team for being so responsive
