  • @NameCrane Invoice #13008
I purchased almost 2 hours ago, but it says pending. Are orders manually processed?

  • It's really fascinating, but I have no need for it at all.

Yes. Also yours is gonna take longer since your billing details don't match payment method, which is required per our terms (name/email match paypal).

Billing will be around in the morning/afternoon pacific time.

  • Would I have to do anything on my end, or would I just have to wait longer?

Mail isn't, but shared is :)

Mike's got a pending request for us to dual stack where we can.

@Francisco said: Crane is 'dual everything' for network

    But... is it dual stack?

Never-ending list of stuff to do:

    • Dual stack anycast DNS for hosting (and domains)
    • Dual stack the SpamExperts filtering
    • Dual stack the mail node + login portal

Just lower on the priority list overall because stability is more important before increasing ticket generators (10+ tickets a week from people misconfiguring AAAA records and certs not renewing already).

  • Listo B) , Now I have to wait for the order to be processed :D

Not sure if it's been asked before. Is your outgoing mails network public? Like the IPs and subnets used. Is it maintained by you or do you use any other relay services for outbound?

It's published in the SPF record you get on signup. I can DM you the range if you want.

They're our ranges, we're using SpamExperts on-prem to filter messages in & outbound with some extra custom rules.

We fully switched over to our own relays in September and things have been good after a few initial bumps and bruises.

  • What does this mean? Will I get a eM Client Pro lifetime license too for the lifetime plan? Thanks.

"plus free eM Client Pro licenses"

"plus free eM Client Pro licenses"

3 licenses per domain. So with the lifetime you'd get 3 for each of the 5 domains.

This is something SmarterMail bundles, not us. So it could go away in the future.

This is new. Is there a list of all features? The link in the first post seems to be missing a lot of further information. For example pop3 suppurt, the disposable emails...etc...

@Francisco so as this evolves, does the lifetime deal get the new features?

Yep. New software features would filter down.

The stuff he mentioned is all in there already, just didn't want to go for 5k words.

You can poke around the SmarterMail site and their help docs for other fun features.

They will get the same perks as any other non reseller user. We have no reason to knee cap that.

We are talking about having something up for the lifetime plans at least.

  • Does it support setting up your own branding, separate webmail pages, etc?

You can theme the webmail login page some.

The sso page will have branding controls sooner rather than later (couple weeks or less?). For now you can point your own domain to the SSO page and it’ll auto fetch an ssl and just work.

  • Can the primary domain be switched to a different one later on?

Yes no problem. It’s just an initial domain and you can add, remove, and rename, at any time without ticketing
