Are they now?
The website uses the API.
As far as i can see here, all orders have been cancelled, no matter if they were placed using API/Bots or manually.
Yes one paid, pending order.
The unpaid ones expire in a week.
Even if, for some reason I get a KS-A delivered, I am done.
Not gonna resell jackshit.
Nobody is flagging bot orders, what are you even talking about? There is a high chance that staff is not even able to differentiate between API and Website- orders. Talking over OVH here and they honestly could not care less. For now it’s just some publicity stunt and some crying customer who’s desperate for attention - because he ,manually‘ ordered… like many others.
Dear Octave I sent you an order by mail like when I was ordering shareware that came on floppy disk in the mail. I wrote it with my hands, it's more real than any other order. I demand that a technician spend 30 minutes prioritising my order thanks.
So do we need DM Octave in Twitter to keep our manual order KS-A ?
Yes ofcourse, and send fresh baguettes to the ovh office
calling the CEO was my idea from day 1
Thanks. Finaly I found a working solution. At checkout I clicked to edit the saved card, add new payment method, and here I clicked and made the payment with PayPal.
When I started using OVH I used PP but in the past months it is more and more unconfortable...
Crying? Oh you can really see how much I am crying, I sm stating facts bud!
Let me guess you used a bot to place orders and now you're mad you wont get it
Bots, users who manual input and people using the website all go through the API. It works and will keep working.
Stop picking fights!
High likely, OVH doesn't create 2 API's for that, nobody does.
And since you need to login to finalize the order, very likely OVH just generates a onetime apikey to place that order.
But in the background, so for the normal user, it looks like a normal order but it isn't.
However, OVH pretty sure can find people who placed a bunch of orders within a few seconds apart, that is unlikely to be a real user.
You are incorrect, matter of fact they can see
They don't care. Money is money
End of discussion.
I wonder how people who made "real" orders on nov 19th were informed that KS-A had become available out of the blue for only a few minutes.
I'd be EXTREMELY suprised if OVH don't save if an order was made from API or website
Yes, it's based on the same API, I know, but still
So we have to create a bot now that does website orders?
edit:
It’s bull shit they don’t give a fuck how you order as-long as the money clears
They do care that's why orders are cancelled and refunds will be issued
OVH KS-A API blip for 5 times and live for 1 min so that easy to prepare and order.
Nah. They only care that they oversold the available stock X times and won't be able to honour all orders on time. To clear things up they will simply cancel everything and be (lol) more careful with accepting orders in the future. No word about limiting bots / API access or anything.
Selenium ?
Nah.
If someone who monitors the API is here to share the info with everybody I think
Guys, stop paying attention to this troll, look at his account. Let him talk all the nonsense he wants.
If he believed what he says, he would be using his main account and not a new one.
And if he's a newbie who just came here to complain and flame, even worse...
Well they are making changes, in the future they are only allowing 2 KS per client

i just sent them a dm. i have some hopes now. don't hate me on api thing, i also tried but failed. no one giving me any server and i need it for my projects. i don't want anyone to get their order canceled. my anxiety with placing manual orders were high, leaving my cooking at the middle. i don't want to get it canceled like that.
