Because normally these locations have additional charge
With their normal pricing you pay more if you choose NUE or VIE.
hey bro.
I am also a new user. I received the CCP login information. I also used a mobile device to take a photo of my passport and uploaded it successfully, but nothing happened afterwards.
Can you briefly tell me how you paid successfully? Thank you.
I am a new customer as well. For identity verification I had two options "pre-payment" and "verification", I chose the former. Once I paid, I accepted their T&Cs and that was it, the server got automatically provisioned.
Didn't have to upload any sort of identification.
Maybe it's because different countries have different conditions. In my version, there is only information upload, and no prepayment as you said. Hahahaha.
Could be yeah. Wait for them to respond then.
Hello. Can anybody show me mtr to me from Netcup AT VIENNA?
VPS deals are over. Tomorrow, it will be shared hosting with 50% off. The deals start in 11.5 hours from now.
Root servers deals on Thursday.
you sure your service is in Vienna? seems the newer IP ranges geo-locate there, but are also given to vms in nuremburg. your mtr is missing the vienna hops and jumping directly to frankfurt. VIE->FRA in 4 ms is not possible ;-)
in the controlpanel you can see the location your vserver is in, just sayin' ;-)
My VPS is in Nuremberg and Yabs IPv6 says Vienna.
mtr looks similar.
Yeah I see it's sus, ccp says Vienna and I ordered Vienna. Maybe incorrectly provisioned, idk. I will look into it later.
@ofit anyway might be good to know that the ones in Germany are better for Belarus.
huh, that got me to run a mtr myself as I am on the same subnet as you
just checked and it's definitely nuremburg (have another server there with <1ms latency). for me that also is correctly shown in CCP as Germany ...
it's ticket time then
A few months ago, I did read that Nuremburg was better than Vienna network wise. Is it still the case?
About shared hosting, does anyone know what is the size limit for a database? Last time I checked I didn't see any details. Can I use any size within my free storage space?
I think it is limited by the disk space. There is no option for that in plesk actually and I don't think they will modify it.
My cheapest vps with NetCup (Euro 0.84 per month)
daily data bandwidth of 2TB permitted
That is a good price.
And I also like Netcup's traffic limit rule.
And it is 3TB and 300 Mbit/s for root servers.
Not really. I noticed German node had other CPU while the Austrian one had different.
German has faster disk speed, but slow CPU. Austria is opposite.
Perfect for s3 hosting like minio
minio requires around ±25Mb per concurrent request, so this vps will support only 25-30 simultaneous connections. Also later versions allocate 1GB ram right away.
"mini" part of minio is very misleading, recommended ram is 8gb.
My comments of using s3 hosting was in reference to 2 TB daily bandwidth. Not for hosting on 1gb tiny vps.
And I will never tag you. You do not deserve that
Okay
I got an amd epic rome delivered in austria so your theory is wrong
I got Epyc Rome in Germany and Epyc Milan in Austria.
too thought will Epyc Milan, but on yabs parameters as in Nuremberg
