there'll be no deals on cloud or the likes. maybe some small credits for new clients or some dedis without setup fees. but apart from that they never really did much in BF.

I also couldn't stop it and bought the G11 VPS 1000 in Nuremberg. double disk and no premium fee on EU locations is a good deal. surprised by the GB6 score, will be interesting to see if this can hold or detoriates because it's their shared line-up.

@shaikhmanal crypto related stuff is forbidden on netcup, they ban user for it - just a heads up. ;-)

Within NetCup, expect variations for GB6 score as the cores are pseudo-dedicated
Still NetCup VPS are excellent in performance

yeah, on the VPS line the cores are not even that, but clearly just shared. in G9 or so it was much worse though, so maybe the underlying hardware indeed got some upgrade and hopefully they won't cram too many noisy neighbours into it.

at least after qilibrium mess they cleaned up quite a bit. so let's hope they can keep it up here as well. would be nice to stay above 1k in single core score.

I've been happy with mine. I used to have an st-hosting one, but I can't find any yabs for it. I always wondered how their infrastructure, CPUs and ports compared. I guess I'll look through the various threads for comparable plans and YABS. My impression is that st-hosting is better value, but for performance Netcup seems to be better?

highly likely he was talking about their root servers: https://www.netcup.com/en/server/root-server

and of course, these are rather threads and dedicated means, 'you can use all you can get' but not really 'full core only reserved for you'

yet this even doesn't fly with crypto sh*t as mentioned before. luckily they keep it out of the neighbourhood.

It all comes down to trust in the end, and not gb6 score. Raspberry Pi 4 performance is enough to run most usual server loads.
