I've just checked it myself too and I can order additional IPs for any of the servers (RISE, KS and KS-LE). I didn't finish the ordering process but it should work.

That's on the OVHCloud manager, I couldn't find it on the old Kimsufi.com control panel.

    KS-LE-B - LIM1 - NVMe

I would nearly do anything to grab that Limburg of your hands.
However, however I can only offer a sucky sucky KS-LE with 32gig and 2x 960GB SSD for 15.99$/m in France.

  • @blu3bird said: Should I wait or should I go for the SYS-LE-2? :p

I got a SYS-1, the SYS-LE-2 has weaker multi-core but slightly better single core - personally i prefer more cores. The extra disk space would be nice but realistically, im probably not going to exceed the 480GB in the SYS-1.

  • All KS-LE-(A to E) are marked as "Soon Available" (aka out of stock)... I guess they finally conclude their flash sale...

  • I have a KS-GAME-2 in GRA from a few years back which hardware wise is now a KS-LE-D from the recent sales. Sadly it’s costing 3x as much. I’ve retired it and it will expire on December 1st. If they do not cancel all pending KS-LE-D orders by then it’s likely that it could get reassigned to one of you all.

I removed the last digit. All of those are KS-A. My first was a month to month and that one got delivered. All of the others are KS-A 12 month up front. Just hoping that they surprise as well.

Me neither, but I had never written an api interface for ovh before, and they don't have a test environment. Nor did I know the link to your script at the time. I scheduled orders in multiple ways in hopes that if anything went wrong maybe one would stick.

No idea if that order being first, or if that order being the only one that was month to month made any difference at all.

OVH is probably losing some money still since with Paypal refunds, they do not refund the fees in majority of the cases. So OVH would have to take the burden of whatever 5-7% of the seller fees were related to those transactions.

    Yes, I did P12M for 6 out of 7.

And no.. they have not taken the money and also I am unable to forcibly trigger payment for any of those orders.

The invoice for the delivered KS-A server appeared AFTER delivery yesterday and then I went and selected 'Pay Immediately' because I didn't want to lose it over weirdness.

On one hand my orders are very strange. On the other I DO have $650 in my prepaid account (which, to your point, is a free loan) so it's covered at least but no transactions for any of those KS-A orders are on my card or prepaid charges at this point.

Don't think paying multiple months upfront will change something though.

    The fuck.
    'duration':'P1M' did you add a 12 there?

You giving them a free LOAN at this point.

Yea the invoice is send either on delivery or refund.
    Before you get nothing.

OVH first sucks your prepaid account dry until it touches your card.

I didn't see that option but when these orders where placed I did have autopay and waive retraction period both off.

You all know more about the inner workings of OVH than I do. I have no idea how their price adjustments are determined. To me the KS-A pricing was/is too good to be true and locking it in for a whole year without the option for the pricing to adjust upwards seemed like a good plan.

You had autopay off and they delivered the server before you paid the invoice?
    That's a surprise for me.

  • My LE-D just died randomly. Wondering how long it'll take them to take a look at it

Probably account credit does bypass that.
