  Borg definitely works, I'm using borg already to back up to the storage box. Although at slow speeds (like everyone else, because of everyone else)

  so like how does it compare to lets say hetzner storage box? i use that for borg and truenas data protection target ATM but this may be sufficient. curious.

  Hetzner significantly more reliable
  Hostbrr significantly cheaper
  Amazon is not affordable
  Backblaze is limiting their Download to 25MB/s

  Nope, it's a shared IP just like DA shared hosting with an SSH port. You can SSH to the storage box using your DA username, password, and the SSH port.

  Just an ordinary Directadmin Shared Hosting account with SSH (so you can use SFTP), Ftp/Ftps, Rsync and Borg.

  The traffic will be calculated both in and out.
