I guess that's why I couldn't FTP to my service (yet)

Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server
    Status: Waiting to retry...ssdsds

    the backend is down.

Interestingly I still managed to telnet the FTP port and also do a SSH. Anyway ticket opened! Hopefully it's resolved soon

    ssh gets sudo privilege?

yep. it was expected. Not much SSH to do then.

Nextcloud or owncloud would be the preferable choice then if one doesn't want sftp.

No, else you can rm -rf /

  • My IPs keep getting blocked from the DA panel although I log in to my account normally. No idea why. The unblock IP feature doesn't work either.

  • StorageBox order are activated manually?

Happened to me 12hours ago. Support said the unblock feature has not yet been hooked up to the DA Server which is why it’s not instant (this might have been fixed now, idk). But they were kind enough to whitelist my IP manually

Just gotta be a bit patient for the final configuration of the StorageBox servers to be completed methinks.

I presume they are blocking VPNs for added security. But you can send a request to unblock, took about an hour in my case.

For me, it's the opposite, they are blocking my residential IP. I have to use a VPN to do stuff in DA.

YABS EPYC Storage 2Tb for anyone wondering. As far as I can tell it can handle *arr+plex pretty well (if that's your type of usage). 2gb ram might or not be short. Looks to me like a very good deal, considering also it's a very reputed host around here.

  • labzelabze Member, Patron Provider

I am aware of the firewall being overly aggressive. I'll work on that later.

If your IP is blocked then open a ticket.

The offers has been much more succesful than anticipated but that also comes with a big increase in tickets so response times are a bit delayed.

  • why this still have stock?

    dont make buy guys :D

Any test right now is probably not that indicative. We're already seeing many clients pushing data into the server so it is averaging 600 Mbps of incoming traffic right now.

    Sorry, I've just finished rsync'ing a 2TB borg repo :/

  • 10 TB Bandwidth @ 10 Gbps
That will run out in 2.2hours@10gbps, what will happen after that?

Yep. I too have to use VPN to access DA panel and the site.

Haven't worked with DA/shared hosting. It seems very tough to enable SSL. Sometimes it works, sometimes SSL initialization error occurs.

  • Is it possible to increase the number of email accounts for the 500GB plan?
