5tb reseller is 84€/Year after the discount so 7€/month

  • Nice price for StorageBox 500 GB... Better than other backup providers

  • Good offers! Is BW calculated only out or in/out? Also what happens after spending all BW?

    Unfortunately not.

Yes, Softaculous is available for easy installation :-)

  • Hey @labze

    1) The EPYC Storage VPS says XXX GB HDD Raid-6 storage (NVMe Cached)

    2) While the DirectAdmin Storage VPS says - XX TB NVMe Cached HDD

    3) While the DA reseller storage offer says - XX TB NVMe Cached HDD

Could you please confirm if #2 and #3 drives are standalone single drivers or does a Raid-6 or some other RAID protect these drives in the backend?

    Great offer

    Great offer

Both systems run NVMe cached HDDs in RAID-6 configuration.

sshd doesn't seem to be listening on ipv6, or it's blocked by a firewall - is that intentional?
It may just need ListenAddress :: in the sshd_config file?

IPv6 hasn't been configured yet. I'll get that on the to-do list for the server. There are many small oversights when configuring a new DA server :|

Thanks! Yes I'm super not picky - once I can use the storage and access it, I'm good to go!

  • now i dont need those, but i must say this is totally insane win win offer. greatest deal

  • Kinda interested in the storage plan, are the IPMI public or not? Asking before :*

I got one and I am in Singapore, how do I share? There is literally no cli for me to do any yabs 😅. Anw personal opinion is that it is ok though huge files do take quite a while. I think it is restricted by the iops rather than the internet.

  • For those curious (I saw several posts about this earlier), Nextcloud sets up really easy in softaculous for the Storageboxes. Just make sure to adjust max upload and memory limit for php in the panel and add an SSL cert. Seems to be running well at the moment.

I dont think it'll handle NC hub though (with all of its extras). if you are wanting that, your best bet is mounting as an external storage system in a nextcloud instance somewhere else.

    LVE limits
    2 vCore
    2 GB RAM
    100 MB/s IO
    1024 IOPS

Do these limits apply to the reseller packages aswell?

    There is SSH :-)

IOPS restrictions shouldn't make any difference for large files. Throughput is limited to 100 MB/s, which is about equal to the maximum bandwidth of the network port.

Yes, the reseller account and the sub-accounts will have same limits.

The IOPS and IO throughput is likely lower than it needs to be, but I rather want to start conservative and under promise and then I can hopefully raise it once I've seen how the system load looks like.

Ah if it is 100mb/s then is definitely my internet then /location. Pretty far away from the server. But in all honesty for that price I don't think anyone can really complain 🤣🤣

Any test right now is probably not that indicative. We're already seeing many clients pushing data into the server so it is averaging 600 Mbps of incoming traffic right now.
