    is it possible/allowed to use this 500gb storage as media for my jellyfin server hosted somewhere else?

    Cannot be used as restic backend without ssh / sftp
    Or through rclone that support ftp but annoying :)

    I think the only downside for using it as a backup storage is that you can only have a single account for ssh. Would be great to create multiple users for multiple directorys so each server can only access his own backups.

    The reseller plans resolves that issue :)

    Yes, but it's far more expensive. You have to pick either of these I guess

    EDIT: I mean don't get me wrong: 7 Euros for 5TB is still cheap ;)
