Last thing we wanted was to add to stress before Black Friday or over the holiday season
or block people from picking up a Black Friday deal as a replacement somewhere, hence why this approach and timing.
By the way, do the emails come out in batches? Because I haven't received one yet.
They all came out as of around 15 minutes ago, have a look at spam box, the email log in WHMCS and failing that, DM me your account's email and I will have a look into it for you!

Most of my important and production VPS are on @InceptionHosting and this came as a surprise. It is sad to see @InceptionHosting ceasing operation even though it was inevitable when the acquisition happened.
Anthony, I will miss you my friend. I will miss the rock solid super-stable VPSes even more. It is still one of the best services I have to date
P.S. I am already test driving clouvider and one of the thing I have noticed is that they tend to reboot (the VPS) after some days. More reasons to miss @InceptionHosting

What does this mean? Do they periodically reboot the host node or individual VPS instances, like every few days? This doesn’t sound right.
Or was it a one-time incident?
My VM with them has only rebooted twice AFAIK, and both of those were due to some host node issue that they mentioned in their status page. I'm in Frankfurt, btw.
Outside those 2 small hiccups, it's been flawless. Network is fast asf, network is amazing, ...

Their current lowest offering with is 2Gb/50Gb is £37 yearly so if they discount that to £18.50 yearly it will accord with the current rates.

Ah! I remember buying Inception Hosting's VPS back in 2014, and Bandwagonhost too!
Well Clouvider quality is arguably better... so even Clouvider do it at $10/yr it will be gone in seconds
my vps was also rebooted twice. Probably we are on the same node
@Rockster as per Ticket #187266, James mentioned that the node didn't reboot but I have seen it rebooting twice only. Probably a hardware maintenance

Clovider using Hostbill... And doing so without proper testing and adjustment.
Placed an order, got 7 (!) emails, which 3 of them was about invoice. 2 emails about invoice created (duplicates) and 1 about invoice being cancelled (but in fact marked as "Paid"). Such a messy operation.
Also, they castrate payment methods. On signup you see more payment methods than it actually offers when proforma invoice generated. A headache. I hope they will sort this mess before the great BF event. Because the crowd will not be pleased with delays and oopsies.

Inception Hosting was superb. clouvider is sadly to expensive.

Well, vider is considered to be more on a premium side. So, it is safe for prod (?). I hope so!
