To all overlords that got KS-A what are you using your system for (not looking for idling as the use case)? How has the system performance been?

I'm using mine for a few 'light' tasks, I don't have much use for a Canadian machine.

Performance wise it's great, well better now the rusty old 480gb SSD isn't in it anymore.

    Premium idling

Thank you, I'll appoint you my queue manager. :)

I've already had some DMs, but honestly I won't be dropping it. Even it if sits idle (which it's not right now), it'll always stay.

Did anybody ever noticed, that the KS-A is listed twice, when you check the catalog?

Most likely because it has different price for APAC region?

Yea, didn't displayed the prices, dang it.

I'm using mine for a few 'light' tasks, I don't have much use for a Canadian machine.

Performance wise it's great, well better now the rusty old 480gb SSD isn't in it anymore.

    Premium idling

Same here, my KS-LE-B had a unexpected crash though.
    Having trust issues right now.

Gonna load test the shit out of it, to see if it ditches again.
If so, gonna request mobo replacement.

My panic if a part of my LE server damaged, will the OVH replace it well and fix the problem? However it is a big forum with a very low number of negative experience regarding OVH hardvare failure fix.

There is always the API, where you can request a mobo replacment directly.
Without any support guy in-between, just describe what did happen.

Technician surely will be happy to help you.
edit: can't find the api endpoint now, I swear I have seen it though

To all overlords that got KS-A what are you using your system for (not looking for idling as the use case)? How has the system performance been?

I'm using mine for a few 'light' tasks, I don't have much use for a Canadian machine.

Performance wise it's great, well better now the rusty old 480gb SSD isn't in it anymore.

    Premium idling

Same here, my KS-LE-B had a unexpected crash though.
    Having trust issues right now.

Gonna load test the shit out of it, to see if it ditches again.
If so, gonna request mobo replacement.

    What motherboard is it?

I have a KS-1 available for transfer, if anyone wants it. 4x2T hdd in BHS, CA account. idk how to transfer services in ovh so if anyone can tell me that would be great too.

    is it a 1g lottery?

no, its the old KS1 config with the 4 2TB disks, there's nothing special about it. i'll ask for 30 bucks for it or if no one takes it, i'll just idle it.

Never did it yet, but from my understanding you have to change all contacts associated with the service. Also, if your account is canadian, you will only be able to transfert to anoyther canadian one..

This... super easy and pain-free as long as the accounts are within the same subsidiary.

Once you enter the recipients ovh nic or email, if it throws an error it usually means accounts aren't in the same subsidiary.

Also for me I have to do each contact separately for some reason. But does the job.

Same for me, KS-2 NVMe GRA ordered on Saturday, supposed to be available in 120s, not delivered for now.

And it was still displayed in stock 2 hours after my order.

Hmm. Thought I was only missing something.
But I heard it's day off in France. So maybe that
