Got it last November 8 in GRA.
Man, this ovh clusterfuck strategy towards organization is getting kind of annoying
I know these were listed a few (lot of) pages ago but I like the smell of speculation in the morning, so considering the FQN of the KS-LE-A..E in the API (also of KS-1)...
and the FQN of the KS-LE-1..6:
I think I can speculate that:
As for SYS, I'm not sure:
check page 80 ;-)
received my KS-LE-A (RBX) this morning, ordered on friday
I join with a skle06 speculation. I think that it will be an EPYC one or a competitor CPU. And SYS-LE line might more expensive than past years one.
But it is a speculation only, I speculated higher prices for current offer too, so hoppe cheaper ones.
2x1.92 TB SSD very tempting, hoppe that CPU stronger than e3-1245 v2 but I'm afraid no...
Did anybody ever noticed, that the KS-A is listed twice, when you check the catalog?
Most likely because it has different price for APAC region?
I think the SYS line will be the most interesting, I can’t see the KS-LE-B being beaten by any blackfriday config/price
Yup, one is the Sydney Variant. They should have put a different title for it IMO.
out of curiosity has any one here one the lottery on KS-LE-E
That’s if we ever get the KS-LE-B Delivered
I hope before the end of this week.
I hope that I don't get a cancellation again for the LE-B. Although I changed locations from LIM to GRA due to it and somehow I have better connectivity from my devices to GRA albeit it being farther away
Don’t worry you’ll be able to idle the fuck out of it soon 🙏
does anyone have any insight into how they procure these old servers that end up at KS? It may help understand if there is any chance of the KS-A ever actually being able to buy again, similar to the old Atom KS-1, which were presumably only freed up when someone cancelled.
OVH is constantly launching new activities and releasing inventory, but the data center cannot meet the huge demand.
I’ve only ever seen like 4-5 confirmed KS-A servers all across different forums and telegram/discord groups and the majority are people from here, the chances of getting one seems to be lower and lower each time as more and more bots are being used. And even if you manage to order one then you have to get lucky enough to actually get one delivered and not cancelled.
They have restocked 2-3 times from I have seen but like I said very very few servers actually get delivered so they can’t restock many at a time…it’s great marketing from OVH, it’s got everyone talking that’s for sure
I have a KS-1 available for transfer, if anyone wants it. 4x2T hdd in BHS, CA account. idk how to transfer services in ovh so if anyone can tell me that would be great too.
I'm not convinced it's a DC issue, but simply a supply issue with these old servers. Which is to be expected, but I feel it's a bad move in the end as I think many of us would sooner not have to deal with OVH after a limited experience with them.
They are a shady french centric company theres a reason so few people have heard of such a large company.
is it a 1g lottery?
yes, but the main problem is they are overselling their stock, they don't have their shop under control. these old part servers are nothing they can easily re-stock by just ordering new parts.
I don't like OVH either
1. The website is too bloated and slow to access
2. This year, my order was rejected when I used Paypal to pay, as an old user.
3. Technical support is always much slower, compared to Hetzner and Scaleway.
Does OVH have no inventory management? On one side, they are replenishing, while on the other side, they lack hardware and cannot deliver, and it is unclear how much inventory is left. Maybe I don't understand the management of large DCs.
Just got my LE-E in rbx 64 go, brand new SSDs
1gbps download 300mbps upload
If someone is selling LE-B I could be interested
To all overlords that got KS-A what are you using your system for (not looking for idling as the use case)? How has the system performance been?
lucky you are
Name and shame the lucky few who got one
@TomasSystems @DP @FAT32 @sh97 @loay
If anyone wants to transfer their KS-LE-B with E3-1245v6 CPU, DM me with price.
Also I'm open to transferring a KS-2 in UK with 32GB RAM and 4x2TB HDD. Server has 10Gbit download and 300mbit upload speed. Looking for 37.98EUR, server cost is 18.99 EUR/month. DM me
Sorry can't edit above, but just wanted to mention server was delivered 6h ago so you'll have nearly a full month going forward.
I'm using mine for a few 'light' tasks, I don't have much use for a Canadian machine.
Performance wise it's great, well better now the rusty old 480gb SSD isn't in it anymore.
