  I didn't think a public connection would be fast enough. I'll test it out. I don't have that much data on my phone. Work net is slower than mine.

  Upload speed is. It's a remote area. Even if I can buy data as a one off rather than monthly it's not fast enough. My phone doesn't support 5g which I think I'd need to get it done in a day or two. I don't have family in the area with decent internet speed. I'll ask if anyone can let me use their internet but I suspect most don't know how fast it is. I could post it to my family in Northamptonshire who do have the speed but they don't have the skills to upload it. I dont really get invites there so can't just leech off their WiFi.

  How would they upload it to my gdrive wouldn't they have to see my password or upload it to a VPS or something for me to the. Sync. Or am I overcomplicating this?

  Considering your budget you could buy a second hand 5g phone (look for ones in very poor condition) and an unlimited data plan and still have some money left over

  samsung screens are expensive so a samsung with a damaged (but working enough to enable hotspot etc) display should be cheap
