serverhunter still good for offers, no?
Due to researches for a good VPS deal, i checked serverhunter lastly and got some unknown (for me) providers i never seen before with (good) prices. But what means good, if no one knows them.
Well, you cant be sure anymore on this site, if they are reliable or not.
dashserv.io
freakhosting.com
dyjix.eu
bigboxhost.com
drserver.net
Others are well known by the community or not worth to list here.

https://vps.today / https://poiskvps.ru are my personal go to.
If you belive in that providers ok, but i cant speak russki.
I was wondering the same, a tempting offer from bulkvm 2tb storage at $5 per month but i can't see any reviews anywhere
If you want to leave a feedback for anything to improve I made this aggregator for VPSs / VDSs by LET providers that currently indexes 60,000 services and is updated every day around noon. As they are all LET patrons you can find reviews and presentation pages on the forum for all of them. It does not do dedicated servers, I don't plan on working on that. On the other hand ServerHunter has become specialized on dedicated servers but has neglected the accuracy of its VPS index.
I've used dyjix before and they are ok
How do these sites address the issue OP raised? How do you know which provider listed is reliable and trustworthy?
How does your aggregator address the issue OP raised? How do you know which provider listed is reliable and trustworthy?
Could you provide any feedback on the accuracy issue?
Because we haven't changed our approach and have always focused on virtual, hybrid, and dedicated servers equally. As always, any visitor can report mistakes with the "Report a mistake" link, and any provider can sign up and list all of their products entirely for free.
Assessing whether providers are reliable or not has always been a major challenge for us, but it's an issue in general with any community or aggregator. There have been many well-known and highly-rated hosts that unfortunately vanished without any notice. I'm not aware of any platform (including LET/LEB) that has found a solution for this.
Right now, the due diligence we do for every provider is making sure they are a legally registered business entity with a valid phone number and address. In this case, if an issue does come up, you can at least pursue any legal means to hold the people in charge responsible.
If you have any other suggestions or features we could add to vet providers more easily, let us know!
I am from BigBoxHost, just if you have question about reliability then I would like to inform you that we are in business since 2010. We are running stable business and services without any downtime. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to our support team.
I have a question for your support team.
What the fuck does anything you just said have to do with what OP posted?
See the list in OP
I have been proven wrong - saw a random link to a random VPS hosting company and went tunnel vision
I reacted the same way at first
Looked at it. Too many default values far off what (I guess) most people look for, e.g. disk size, network (both speed and traffic).
Also: What criteria and data are behind the "reliable" clickbox?
And a list of all providers whose products your search includes would be nice (but maybe I just didn't see it).
I've been personally using most of the providers listed there, at least from the first 1-5 pages, and apart from 1 or 2, they've all been fine
Some of those I'm close to renewing for my 3rd year.
I remind you that your own offer aggregator has at least 1 host that scammed me.
You barely monitor your page, most coupons don't work (if not all), most providers listed are just dead url, or they set fake prices.
Sorry for the late reply, LET never notified me of these posts.
That's the thing with personal experiences, everyone has a different one. Just because they've been fine for you doesn't mean they will be fine for everyone, and the fact you already mentioned "apart from 1 or 2" means your approach is not flawless either, especially considering your smaller scale.
We've implemented reviews a long time ago, and you can use our filters for company age + review score to filter it to "Reliable" without just going off the experience of a single person.
Did you contact us about this? We've mediated with providers and refunded customers out of our pockets multiple times, even for major hosts like OVH, and we place big red warnings on providers that are not being fair or honest.
Did you report any of this through the website? Because mistakes are automatically submitted to the providers and their provider is delisted if they do not correct the mistake. Dead URLs were handled automatically in the past, but there were some false positives, so we're doing those manually for now. Again, reporting this as a mistake should take care of it within 1-2 weeks.
All of that being said, I agree that there are many things we could improve.
We're working on a Trust Score system that will use verification steps and independent data sources (together with the existing reviews) to make it easier to see how trustworthy a provider is. Data accuracy for the offers is already high, but since it's pretty hard to write a spider for coupons, I'll add a voting system so people can report whether the coupon worked or not.
If anyone has any other suggestions, we're always open to hearing them.
I mean, those 1 or 2 were clear exit scams, however I'm currently using like 20-30 of the providers listed there.

I have over 300 servers, I know the shit I talk about. The amount of different providers I use is just insane.
You take like months to approve a single review, I don't really care. That specific provider doesn't even have more than 1-star reviews. And those reviews are all about scamming. I'd rather prefer not helping on your own job, so people can really see how you don't really care about your page.
MrVM hasn't had any of those locations in stock for over a year, and you're still advertising them
poiskvps.ru takes less than 24h in answering, and they actually notify about your "feedback" status, if they removed the product, modified it, ...

Their page is 100% in Russian. I send corrections in English, and they actually answer in English and not with a random generated message.
Not really, but that does not happen at poiskvps.ru, or barely does, because they monitor their shit and manually approve stuff. Most if not all of their coupons are also valid.
Isn't serverhunter on moderation as well? The only issue I can see is lack of time spent on moderation
I didn't knew about that
See the MrVM example, MrVM hasn't had any of those locations in stock for over a year, and he's still advertising them
They don't moderate shit
Lemme look for some screenshots, I'll edit the post.
not possible, they add the reviews with the date they were submitted.
I do have some kind of example:

Review submitted on 03/07/2024
27/07/2024 still not there
It got approved on the 29th.
I have some other examples too, that either took the same time or longer, but since they don't have any way to check (cause they tell you they will email you when the review is there but they don't) I can't show any proof.
I bought a $2 lifetime VPN from Djyix a few years ago that stopped working a year later.
like, lmao

0.1 GHz
Indeed you have...

I assume that was manually added by a provider, but anyway it doesn't show by default because it is out of stock
The providers just haven't bothered on adding some fake url to appear as stock, but again, it shows how they don't even moderate their stuff. That has been there for months.
Found your post by searching for the same thing. Finally got one, on the plus side: prompt ticket replies and %cpu_steal=0 during benchmarks. Negative: This is far too young company to use it for anything production, no ipv6, hdd speed=is you get what you pay
This is for the 5TB plan (custom disk partitioning):
and for the HDD drive (zfs formatted/zstd-fast):
I thought just the low review score would be enough to warn people, but I just added a more obvious warning on top of it.
Thanks for letting me know, I've just removed them.
Yea, they added it manually, and when I last checked, it was an actual offer on their website too, which is why I didn't remove it at the time. They received multiple emails about people reporting it as a mistake and they never did anything. I've just manually removed them.
Honestly, and this is clearly my mistake, I always assumed providers value accuracy and would not try to pull tricks like this, and would care if they submit inaccurate details or their offers are inaccurate. Unfortunately, it's becoming clear now I was wrong.
I think the amount of companies and offers I'm dealing with at this point has just become overwhelming, which is why this started happening, and which is why it's hard to make impactful changes. The goal has always been to include every provider and every offer on a fair and unbiased platform, but it seems like this allowed some sketchy providers to slip through.
Thanks for this wake up call, I'll be implementing a more thorough feedback loop, including email notifications about reviews and mistakes, and adding deadlines for providers to respond to them before the platform automatically delists them.
I'll ping you in the near future when this has been done. Thank you again.
It seems like you have to do a lot of manual reviews and checks for offers on your site, maybe time to introduce some extra paid help? Just a suggestion - I have no idea what your cash flow is like and if it allows for something like that.
DrServer - @drserver is an old and well-known provider.
They've been around for more than 10 years, see e.g. this thread: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/18789/drserver-review
Should be safe to order from.

I like your humour!
