Accuris Hosting - Ottawa Location Down Since September 25
Accuris' Ottawa location has been down since September 25th (It did come back up briefly but was taken back down).
All services are down, no response from peter, datacenter says the bill hasn't been paid in months. Peter is unresponsive to the DC and to customers.
I was a colocation customer of Accuris. The DC reached out to me because I had key fob access to see if I wanted to move my equipment into a cabinet since they were going to proceed with powering down Accuris' racks due to non-payment.
Anyone else also affected by the outage?

We're sorry to see people affected by this outage. We have a datacenter in Ottawa, if anyone is looking to move their colocation over, feel free to reach out in DMs. Setup can be done same-day on business days.

I have his cell number too, he's just straight up ghosting at this point.
Someone mentioned the thread in LET Discord last night (non-public channel) and he was typing for a long time, but never sent a message, so he's aware of it all and around.
Abandoning gear and not letting people know is never acceptable.
Interesting, last I've heard from him was September 25th. And all he said was "This is being sorted at the moment."
Can this guy just not communicate? Sounds like Path tactics when Path lost DE-CIX because of not paying bills. I hope everyone with more than just a hobbynet running there has found a solution out of this mess.

No matter the reason, Peter's rack is offline and he hasn't responded to paying customers in over a week while being active on Discord, scummy enough for me.
I am happy to see that you wont share confidential stuff, my question is more so if the DC genuinely told you he did not pay for his services then clearly the DC did not care to tell you.
Also I do have to ask if the DC reached out to move your servers then why exactly is your own services down and regardless of if you are a fob holder if the rack is not paid for they shouldn't be letting anyone into the rack connected to his account? I am sorry this makes no sense to me
I am sorry are you a customer? have you reached out to him and not had a reply? also your opinions are irrelevant as you think bringing his employer into the picture of a thread about Accuris makes sense, typical de rail, you may have something against Path sure but that has nothing to do with any of this.

My own services are down because Accuris was my upstream. I'm working with the DC to find a solution for my own hardware.

So the DC will allow you into a rack that is not your own when the bills have not been paid, I would question the DC about this decision, Let me just get some colo with you then just get access and no matter what I know I can get my hardware because they will let me in even if you do not pay ....

Am not disputing this, its more so that you are spreading ideas that bills have not been paid and this is why there is no reply, you are doing the same as everyone who you have said before is annoying and running to a public forum to cause drama, I could understand if you had said something like " Has anyone had any reply from Accuris as my services have been down and I am getting no reply" instead its lets spread the narrative that the racks are not paid.
