Interesting. Good luck for incoming mental gymnastics.

This is a thread for people who prefer quality at a good price. We don't see many of you iHostArt fanboys here. Anyways, welcome!

What about I buy from you this time around?

Will I become your fanboy too?

  • submitted an order, waiting for deliver.

  • @hosthatch is it possible to change the billing terms (for longer) after purchasing?

  • sweet! was able to grab a storage server.

  • Between LA, Chicago, NY and STO - which one has the best CPU? For storage servers

  • prem

  • Invoice #440779 The payment has been successful, please help me add
    Invoice #401126 2x RAM, 2x bandwidth and +1TB storage

AFAIK, they're all gradually being moved to Gold 6140.

They reached out a few weeks back in order to seek consent to reprovision my 2y/o 2T storage VM at STO with Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz to Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6140 CPU @ 2.30GHz on a newer node. The USP was 20GB NVMe boot drive and RAID10 on the new node. Naturally, I took them up on the offer and am migrating data as I type this out.

  • Coming out of hibernation (been awhile since I've been on here) to thank you for emptying my wallet.
Was pretty bummed I missed the first round and almost missed this one misreading the countdown. Pretty stoked to pick up a compute + storage in SYD. So thank you HostHatch :)

All deals from the OP will be available for 24h. I will add this here for better clarification. https://www.tickcounter.com/countdown/5879281/sale-renewal-finish

Hey, It seems the deal does not end for now, but my order has been cancelled and I cannot find the current-promotion pages.

  • God damnit! @hosthatch took all my Black Friday VPS monies.
A couple of big-ass storage and some compute VMs, and I do not have any $$ left for those impulse purchases in a couple of months

Couldn't resist and grabbed the bi-annual 4 core NVMe plan. 4 ROME/MILAN Cores, 16GB RAM, 200GB NVMe and 10 TB BW at $100/bi-annual is a great deal. This deal was even better than the 13th anniversary deals, which was 'just' 1.5x RAM/DISK/BW for triennial payments.

We don't have a blanket rule for this, but if there are upgrades involved (i,e double RAM for x cycle and so on, then it might not be possible).

Indeed, but we do not guarantee any specific CPU type or performance on storage VMs, even though most of these nodes run at 80% idle CPU at full capacity - the reason we do not promise any such thing is to manage proper expectations for what should be expected at this pricing for RAID10 storage.

Automatically or did you ask support?

I have a VPS in Stockholm as well, paid for 2 years, and when it was provisionned it had 60 Gb storage too. Then I left it alone for a few hours and then logged back in, and the storage had become the advertised 100 Gb.

why I consider @hosthatch as a premium provider

This is a storage VPS, don't let cpu type, vCores, and memory confuse you.

I opened a support ticket, but few minutes I got the response "this has been already taken care of". I guess, that implies, it was taken care automatically.

As far as I was aware, there were no upgrades and I was gonna get 3 months as a trial and then change to annually or biennially , but it is too late now, offer is gone :(

  • I purchased a VPS in Stockholm and it still says β€œThis server is in a pending state and may be awaiting its invoice to be paid for or is still being built.”. β€œ How long do I have to wait in this case?

  • @inspain said: I purchased a VPS in Stockholm and it still says β€œThis server is in a pending state and may be awaiting its invoice to be paid for or is still being built.”.

    .

    What is the setup time?

The setup time is 10 working days (2 weeks). Most will get delivered much earlier. Some may get slightly delayed. Please order one of the packages from hosthatch.com directly if immediate provisioning is needed. We cannot offer faster provisioning on special plans.
Opening tickets to inquire about the delivery timing will reset the two week timer. Support time is extremely expensive, please use it with care. Please be careful if delivery
date is important / related to you moving from another server and having to cancel it in time, etc.

One can only hope that the delay is on account of new hardware, which would wishfully translate to provisioning of new orders on different node(s) than the last sale? @hosthatch is that a possibility

  • Does anyone still have any orders pending from the second run?
