Happens often, it's just the Duolingo website that's bugged, just refresh the website and log into your account again and you should see the class

I can also initiate a password reset for you, to annoy you
I can use above information to send you African prince mails or directly sell them to some broker for 100€-400€ (email list with 1000 unique entries = 20 Duolingo classes)
I can also spy on your Duolingo learning pattern using AI
This way it's possible to estimate what type of job you do and what kind of personality you have
Your classmates can see your learning activity as well, as there is a "ranking" on how many lectures each student has taken, this way other people will see how lazy you are
If you use the normal Duolingo, you won't have these issues, but after a certain amount of mistakes you have to stop for the day or buy premium, also you have to watch ads all the time

Maybe he has to join the same class. It's true that you loose the ability to participate in the standard Duolingo Ranking System. It's replaced by the Duolingo Class Ranking System.
