Sure. I am genuinely curious how much criminal activity the owner of this community can tolerate for some bucks.

    Later edit:
And I also like to help users from time to time, within my knowledge, when I see a thread like: "how do I configure X", "can you help me do this and that". So, I don't really see something bad in me visiting this community, even if I disagree with the owner's practices. Me stopping all kinds of selling here is a form of protest against that.

And you believe you have plenty of common sense, right?

So, treating someone with disrespect just because they lack business skills counts as common sense?

I’m not saying Calin did everything right—he clearly messed up—but at least have the decency to speak respectfully to him, regardless of his actions. As for the "illegal" operations you're implying, it's not your place to judge. If you have concrete evidence, report him instead of making accusations.

Otherwise, it is just smoke and mirrors.

For now, it's just a "he said, she said" situation, nothing more.

We have no concrete evidence that he intentionally scammed the party involved. What we do have is evidence of poor handling of a situation involving a substantial sum of cryptocurrency.

This money needed to be converted to RON, USD, or EUR in a country where crypto-to-fiat transfers are fairly regulated, and it seems there was a lack of knowledge in navigating this process. ( in other words he had no clue how to do this, and this is no excuse ).

Accusing someone of being a scammer simply because they're inexperienced shows bad intent. Calling them names like "fucking moron/idiot" reflects a lack of maturity. ( or you are 14 and this is a chat around the block? )

@Andreix - you're an old member here. You know how things work around here nowadays. Bilohbucks is all that matters. It is like you are fighting windmills in the wrong place.

LET the thread sink, LET the provider tag be granted again, LET the con artists perform their staged acts, LET everybody be happy until they're sad.

There is no point in fighting this, because all these mental gymnastics have various different agendas behind them; from corruption, to public image, and even patriotism. Reprocessing this mental manure won't magically bring you different results, because the windmills around you simply don't care.

LET it go, for your own good. I know it is sad, but it is better that way. The entitled generation will see its downfall later when it will burn this little world.

So you think it would be normal for all of us to jump on Calin and not be respectful to him and lead others into doing the same as you?

The best thing to do in this situation would be to wait to see if both parties come to solve this agreement. Calin does show his desire to refund the money as you've seen, he still somewhat replies to this thread up to this day (compared to GoSSDHosting that understood that he did a big oopsie and stopped writing something here).

GoSSDHosting ran out of options in trying to recover his money (opening up this thread and turning everyone against Calin in hoping that the dude has 20k$ secured and ready to send so he won't receive negative feedback from all of us was his last resort).

The only side left with a task is Calin and that's refunding the money, and LET to stop their detective or harvard skills and let Calin to finish his job.

If you treat a "provider" like Calin with max consideration, how does a provider like Jar deserves to be treated? Equally?!

That’s the problem with this community when it comes to Calin. If anyone else did half of what he’s done over the past few years, they would’ve been banned long ago. But he always gets away with it because "he's just a kid".
This is what the fifth or sixth publicly known stunt he’s pulled? Kid or not, he's causing damage. Again, and again, and again.

What about no? This is exactly what LET has been doing from the beginning, playing detective. If newcomers don't like it, well... tough luck.

Well yeah, detective work and pushing the bad guys away is cool and all - I am a big fan of that, but there's 50 pages of useless drama that could've been written in like 1.

Both parties did an oopsie here and this seems to be something that needs to be solved between them, not publicly here. All GoSSDHosting tried to do was scare Calin into getting all this negative feedback and hoping that he has 20K$ in his pocket to refund (being aware that the funds are locked by the bank), not to make users aware that ihostart is a scam.

If Calin was for example scamming all his customers (most of them being referred from LET), then yeah, 50 pages in this thread of pure detective skills and pushing him away from this forum would've been worth it and well deserved.

At least he doesn't have a provider tag anymore and hopefully it stays that way until the money is returned in full.

Yeah, quite new to LET, but that doesn't mean I couldn't've read old threads in this time and understanding how things work here.

If you would just treat new users differently just because they recently joined, this doesn't seem to be such a welcoming place..

I believe people and especially providers, should earn respect, not benefit from it "pro-bono".

If you believe Calin should be banned, start a poll with arguments why.

Additionally, suggest that the moderators implement "High Risk Provider" tags for providers who seem suspicious or have a history of user complaints or involvement in gray-area transactions.

Handling the issue this way is more professional and will have a far greater impact than resorting to immature behavior, the later solves nothing but does bring one or two seasons of popcorn-show.

Jar did not need to earn respect ( he already had ), what he did was for Mike and Mike's customers, don't mix things up.

The fact that Calin or similar providers operate on a forum with many established providers is part of a free market system.

If we follow your logic, we would need to ban users engaged in malicious activities with VPS services, those seeking IPTV, or those looking for DMCA-ignored hosting for torrent sites. ( as those are illegal in a lot of countries )

If we did all that, LET would become a very quiet place.
