Yeah I just wish Keepsolid had a bypass proxy setting. They do allow LAN addresses through, but I have some local URLs that I can't access with it on.
Have you suggested that to their support? They were always happy about feedback when I contacted them.
Just did that! Added that it would help lighten the load on their servers too, so hopefully that gets them thinking

I honestly just found a decent enough deal ($25/yr) for Nord VPN, who has an excellent extension with great speeds, on Newegg. So fingers crossed on Keepsolid, but I'll be using Nord for the next year or so.
Nord is great if you just need unblocking and streaming (basically my use case). Privacy advocates would opt for another vpn I assume, but Ivacy/Purevpn/Keepsolid/Fastest surely are no better in that regard, so go for it. Is it the classic 75$/3y deal?
It's just $50 a year with a $25 coupon for today. I think the standard deal outside of that right now is like $83 for 2 yrs, which isn't great but it's not exactly Black Friday yet

Guess it's technically $26. Good for the rest of the day only. NordPass is even included if you're into that (but just use Bitwarden). Make sure you use that promo code though, but I think it's applied automatically.

Please note that while you have transferred from Ivacy to PureVPN, the terms and plans of your Ivacy subscription, including the lifetime subscription, will not carry over to PureVPN. PureVPN is a separate service with its own subscription terms.
After your current subscription period expires, you will need to renew with PureVPN, as Ivacy's lifetime subscription terms do not apply here.
Mine is expiring in 12 days. I will contact them in a few days and let you guys know what happened.
They may "play nice" for now. But who knows in the near future.
They also told me in the live chat that ivacy plans will be honoured. But maybe only until their "expiry" date. And since Ivacy lifetime isn't like VPN Unlimited where they just put "one time", we unfortunately do have an expiry date set on those plans. Mine is sometime in 2028 luckily, since I bought a second lifetime with pf recently.
If time comes I may be reverting to my Windscribe and VPN Unlimited lifetime. Even now, on my Google Chromecast I've already reverted to using WS. But also don't like that WS sets an expiry date rather than just "one time"/"forever". They try to purge inactive users by this (it auto renews if you use the services), then again I don't get why exactly. An inactive user doesn't use their servers and is no strain on them. Maybe in 10 years they remember about that lifetime deal, return, and it's gone.

Use the second option that doesn’t require a credit card (I don’t remember what it was called, no auto-renewal or something like that). At least several of us did it that way.

So I guess no more lifetime?
I still have a couple years left of my current subscription though.
Many of us have contacted support and it boils down to contacting them shortly before expiry. It does sound like they're more likely gonna offer a discount than actually honoring the lifetime deal.

I have schedule 2 week mail send on gmail to them helpdesk mail incase i miss the calendar event when it nearly expired
Some received 2-3 days before the expiration date, while I got 1-2 weeks in their response.
I would just stick with a week or two instead of waiting until the last few days.

This is their response when I contacted them when my VPN was about to expires in five days. And my VPN expiration date did extend. So, are they honored the lifetime customers of Ivacy? They certainly did, for now. But we never know what will happened in the next few years.

I was literally about to post asking how you went, talk about timing! That's good to hear, I found another guy on reddit who also had a similar experience where they renewed his membership free of charge no hassle.
I was on vacation, so couldn't post the update on time.
Glad to hear that they honor the lifetime deal! Mine will expire in 3.5 years. Hopefully, it will get extended when the time comes too.
