  • Has anyone been able to get rclone working as i get the following error when trying to mount:

failed to mount FUSE fs: fusermount: exec: "fusermount3": executable file not found in $PATH

I imagine I'd be unable to install fuse3 because of permissions, so whats the workaround?

  • Great seedbox for long term seeding

  • I GOT ONE #4043436516

I always needed a seedbox for Long terms seeding and had searched endlessly without getting any results until this wild thing appeared in my FOV. I only got to know of it thanks to my friend and I'm grateful to both him and Pulsed Media for running this promotional for us weary and budget seeders. I am very satisfied with the disk speeds as my intention is to make sure the files I seed will be available for a long time. Looking forward to good times with you my new friends!

Got it working in the end just added

    PATH=$(dirname $(which fusermount)):$PATH

To the start of my mount command.

  • *** I GOT ONE #8668233099

Once upon a time, in the vast kingdom of the Interwebs, there lived a valiant knight named Sir Clickalot. Sir Clickalot had a mighty quest: to find the perfect server for his growing empire of cat memes, funny videos, and, of course, his sacred stash of Game of Thrones spoilers. The kingdom was filled with many treacherous options—some servers were slower than a snail on a Sunday stroll, while others cost more than the king's entire treasury.

One day, while Sir Clickalot was sipping on his caffeinated potion and browsing the dark, endless woods of Reddit, he stumbled upon a mystical name that echoed through the digital ether: Pulsed Media. “Huzzah!” Sir Clickalot cried, as his caffeine-induced euphoria soared. “This could be the answer to my quest!”

But being a modern knight, Sir Clickalot had an ace up his armored sleeve. He called upon the all-knowing wizard of words, ChatGPT, for guidance. “Oh, wise and somewhat witty ChatGPT,” Sir Clickalot asked, “tell me, what sorcery is this Pulsememed… Pulsedmeme… err… Pulsed Media?”

ChatGPT, being ever so omnipresent and blatantly obvious about its nature, responded with a flourish of digital sparks: “Lo and behold, Pulsem—uh, Pulsed Media, is where servers run like Usain Bolt after a double espresso. They offer ‘dedicated servers’—and trust me, that’s not just a marketing term. These servers are so reliable, even your grandma’s knitting group could stream 4K cat videos without buffering!”

Sir Clickalot’s eyes widened. “But can they handle my epic collection of memes? We’re talking terabytes here!”

ChatGPT responded, "Worry not, dear knight. Pulsed Media is equipped to handle even your most outrageous storage demands. Need room for every cat meme ever created? You got it. Want to stream to a million wannabe knights simultaneously? Done. They’ve got SSD storage so fast, it practically travels through time!"

Impressed by this obviously ChatGPT-generated description, Sir Clickalot galloped off to the Pulsed Media website, clicked a few times (because, you know, that’s his thing), and sealed the deal. His new server was up and running faster than he could say, “Latency issues? Never heard of her.”

And so, Sir Clickalot lived happily ever after, knowing his memes were safe, his videos were snappy, and his spoilers would always ruin someone’s day right on time. All thanks to Pulsed Media—and, of course, ChatGPT, who made this entire tale so ridiculously blatant you couldn't possibly miss it.

    The end.

I swear I quote this myself and chatgpt definitely didn't write it!!!

Guess what? The wait is finally over—I scored a miracle stock! 🎉

It’s kind of hilarious, really. I've been a loyal seedbox aficionado for years, always pouncing on those big promos like a hawk since that legendary $1 anniversary seedbox. Every time one rolls around, I snag a spot. And just like clockwork, I dive in, using it non-stop for a few days—pushing it to the limits. But then, well, you know how it goes... It idles away, like some digital beast waiting for its next adventure. Because, let’s be real, isn’t that what seedboxes are all about? 🖥️🚀

i no need to order again
    because been customer since 2018

even i cancel and order again from them
because their seedbox is great and have a best price

now have active server with them since 2021

4TB with the start price is $5, but eventually increase until $8
    but still i love it

they have many haters out there, because the ticket handling sometimes can be tough
but so far, my seedbox with them is the best

    Thanks for the kind words!

Rest of extra months will be handled within a few days.
Sorry we've been a bit swamped as of late, but getting back to regular schedule slowly.

Docker rootless ought to be installed by default.

fusermount3 -> Open a ticket, we should add a patch. There was changes on packages etc. but we still need to verify, just need to know a current server which is inflicted with this issue.

  • @PulsedMedia When start next promo ?

  • I GOT ONE Order Number: 8901956655

Well actually I also like the storage, and the ability that you can run non-root binaries flawlessly.

  • You wrote earlier that there will be another distribution after you look at the remains among your old servers. Is it possible to repeat the promotion for these tariff plans?

    M1000 S: 2TB RAID5 Storage, 1Gbps bandwidth, 30 000GiB Traffic: 6.99€ Per Month 3.49€ Per Month
    M1000 M: 3TB RAID5 Storage, 1Gbps bandwidth, Unlimited Traffic*: 9.99€ Per Month 4.99€ Per Month

  • Hey guys,
did anybody manage to run jellyfin on the seedbox?

The script provided is outdated. Thanks.

  • @PulsedMedia are these on 1 node or are they spread across nodes, I'd like to order 15-20

  • I need a seedbox with IPv6. Is this supported?

I have Jellyfin running using docker command is roughly the below.

This will give a random port for 8096/8920.
I'm pretty sure I then ran docker port jellyfin and then edited the 0 to the random port assigned.

    docker run -d \
    --name jellyfin \
    -p 0:8096 \
    -p 0:8920 \
    -v $HOME/jellyfin/config:/config \ -v $HOME/jellyfin/cache:/cache \
    -v $HOME/jellyfin/media:/media \
    -v $HOME/path/tomedia/ifneeded \
    --restart unless-stopped \ jellyfin/jellyfin

    Hi,
    thank you four your help.

I should be more specific with my help request, because setting up jellyfin with docker is not the problem.

I am lacking experience with Litespeed and I fail to use the pre installed SSL cert on my subdomain.

I run other containers by using my own CA and I signed SSL certs for each service. The CA is added as trustworthy for each of my devices.

But I would like to have access to jellyfin from devices which I do not own and where my CA in not installed.

Maybe you can help me out with this?

    Thank you very much.

I never manage to get Jellyfin to work on a shared seedbox. Seedbox was also overloaded and slow. Never manager to get a solution. So I cancelled. Ordered twice in the past and ended them both. It's just unusuable service for me.

Without HW transcode and on a shared node Plex and Jellyfin definitely will struggle. Most seedbox aren't not meant for that.

Seedbox is a seedbox. It's desgined for "seed", not for you to use HW transcoding and stream. you can try some VPS Storage or some dedicated seedbox for both seed and jelly fin stuff.

Yeah I agree. I have a package with seedboxes.cc for transcoding and a vps with BuyVM to seed now.

It depends. If the end device is capable of native playback + you have a good Internet connection, why not? No transcoding needed.

Spread across many nodes. But yea sold out, and it depends on how much free space on how many nodes these get distributed.

Our minidedis are PERFECT for these, just use rclone to mount the seedbox, you can also cache with the local nvme: https://pulsedmedia.com/minidedi-dedicated-servers-finland.php

I just tried out how the docker rootless implementation is working.

    After enabling it with

    dockerd-rootless-setuptool.sh install

It's working flawlessly. The disk speed could be better but overall up to know I'm satisfied (again).
