Can I request to unblock mail ports? I'm planning to purchase DA Personal plus license. Currently I'm hosting mailcow server on an other provider, but I want to cancel it and move my personal e-mail hosting here to save costs. I don't send any spam or marketing mail. It's all personal use, I even barely send emails and If I need to, I'm using mailchannels relay.
How much would you pay for the data?
@rsk
The threads seem quiet despite it's nearly 15. Bring some heat please
Yes, we can unblock it towards mailchannels relay and you can use it that way. No problem at all
Need another coupon hunt to 🔥 things up
And port 25 for incoming mails?
Incoming is always open, for all ports
Need to find another way to finance the payments/bills/giveaways/gifts
🔥
Thanks, I'll open a ticket
Finaly,I got it
Congrats!
Sometimes waiting is key
Hope you don't find a way to oversell your node 🤣
I also got my server - 4C4G UK:
Looks really good!
Congrats! You finally have it.
@rsk I noticed one difference in YABS by @Franzkafka and my - VM-x/AMD-V is enabled on SG node and disabled on UK node. Is it on purpose or why?
Not that it makes any difference since I have no plans to run nested virtualization, but why are VMs different?
Actually, I just noticed this due to the YABS being shared. By default we disable amd-v as we use AMD Ryzen 7950X and we did see some stability issues with random reboots and our mobo combination. I have gone ahead and disabled it on the nodes that were not updated with this change.
Again, like you said, it won't make a difference as you don't plan to run nested virt
Thanks for the answer
I guess, nested virtualization could be interesting for users that take like 32G VMs and making their lab VM to test something, but not for the smaller VMs.
Ah yes, that’s true too
Looks great
Just curious, but if someone want to run nested Virt, so this node will have a chance to reboot randomly, right?
To be completely honest, we haven't seen these random reboots come up for a while now, even on nodes that we have it enabled on for other dedi clients. Our motherboard firmwares are updated, and kernels too. The random reboots happen under very specific circumstances, and we don't anticipate any issues. As always, we constantly monitor all our nodes and infra and keep a close eye on this
Glad to hear that it rarely happens. I'm waiting for BF if I can get some Dedi/VDS from you
because I maybe want one to idle and remote docker build hehe
Definitely GOOD.
We can't wait for BF either
I'm very happy with your 4c4g+2gb+1TB now
just wait for BF to get an idle dedi hehe
What all are you collecting? Do you include a recent picture of their identification cards, social security numbers, IP address, home address and times when they are not at home, religious/political affiliations (kind of one in the same these days), sexual preference, how often they call their mother and so on. I want it all.
Hey, how much would it cost to upgrade the RAM?
Really? That surprises me a little. I asssumed most BF deals for providers were loss leaders or at least less profitiable than normal deals but it is kind of a marketing write off because of all the people it draws in. I've actaully been considering starting a Black Friday thread about expectations for us end users about potential upcoming BF deals.
I Think that if you managed to set a deal and have strict ToS, you will ideally in profit. Many people got a server just because it's cheap, and have it idiling 7 80% all of the time (including me).
Let's do it.
