I see a lot of cope in the comments over the last couple of days. On day 1 of release, OVH was the best host in the world and now their reputation is steadily going down. Calling OVH's network bad, and also worse than Hetzner's is the highest form of cope I've read in a while. But I will remind people that OVH is one of the most cutthroat companies out there. They absolutely do not care about the customer. The KS-A offer might as well had been a FOMO tactic to get some hype and attention. The rest of their offers are pretty good too but for my use case, I need 1Gbit bandwidth at least so I'm going to keep grinding it out with Hetzner and Leaseweb for now.
Seems like some orders are starting to get cancelled, this happened to me a few years ago on a different "Limited edition" server that ran out of stock as I ordered it. They voluntarily cancel and refund your order without even notifying you. https://i.imgur.com/SFKWnIJ.png
@sunnyg No, different users of the same forum can have different opinions. ONE guy said what you quoted, and from what I recall, nobody agreed.
I've owned a Kimsufi years back, neglected it and ended up sending close to a few million emails of spam. Didn't even receive an warning from them (they're a bit more aggressive now afaik).
I've also worked with a company that did shared hosting with OVH servers and received maybe 2 complaints per week, we handled them and replied to ovh, no issues.
Support always replied with hardware issues, no issues there.
Sure, they don't hold your hand and they don't waste time to sweet-talk you, but if they're fair, what's the problem if your feelings are hurt?
Cancelling and refunding an order is fair. Cancelling without refund is not fair. Again, this is a situation of having your feelings hurt, not the actually company doing anything wrong to you.

I've used Kimsufi for 5+ years and have never had a problem. Disks get replaced, hardware gets repaired. The value is very hard to beat. OVH reputation is ever getting bigger in the positive direction, not the negative direction.
After I talked with them, I'm 100% sure that was a FOMO tactic. Shame OVH!
