Hello. Thank you for your feedback! We hope for further cooperation.
So, @antonpa have you realized by now that you don't have a Vienna location and that the VPSes you're selling as hosted in "Vienna" are actually physically hosted in Germany, not Austria? Or you are still insisting on this lie?
@antonpa
Could you please reply to @Mumbly 's question, clarifying whether the VPSes that you advertise as being in Vienna are really in Vienna? (And if the VPSes are in Vienna, how to account for the data that @Mumbly has presented?)
It really shouldn't take so long to clarify this matter, and the longer that you avoid this question, the less serious that you appear, which isn't in your interest (I would think)
If a mistake was made (we all make mistakes sometimes), then there's still time to try to make things right
Did they remove Austria from the location picker? Don't see it.
They removed the option yeah
Dear Administrator and LET Users,
We apologize for the delay in our responses. Unfortunately, we must inform you of the temporary removal of the Vienna location from our available locations list. Vienna is a new location that we hastily announced on LowEndTalk. However, due to a configuration error in our cloud, the servers in Vienna were actually created in Frankfurt.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience and apologize for any consequences. Our technical team is working to resolve this issue and restore the Vienna location.
Once the issue is fixed, we will inform you separately. The period during which servers were in the incorrect location will be compensated for all clients.
While our specialists work to fix the Vienna location, our clients can use one of our 31 locations in 21 countries worldwide. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your understanding.
Norway: You get an IPv6 address, but they don't have working IPv6 at all. The support ticket department is useless.
Russia: Several locations. IPv6 worked until a month to a month and a half ago. Since then, it's mostly non-functional. The support ticket department is useless.
I would prefer an answer like 'we are not capable of fixing this' instead of useless responses that don't bring a solution.
Russia (I tried several locations with the same result):

Norway

@antonpa I understand that you're not capable of getting IPv6 in Norway or something, but what the hell is going on with the Russian locations? It's been like that for more than a month.
Before that, you had a fully functional IPv6 there.
Talking with the support department is like talking to a plant. You don't get any useful responses from them.
Yes, I second that view. When my service broke, one of the staffer just replied quickly with this:

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely regret that you have encountered issues with using IPv6 in our services.
Norway:
If you are experiencing problems in this location, it may not be the right fit for you. In such cases, we offer 50 free address and location changes so that you can choose the most suitable option for you.
Russia:
The issues with IPv6 connectivity are specific to the DataLine location. We acknowledge that we have a problem with IPv6 connectivity at this location. Previously, we provided fully functional IPv6, and we are making every effort to restore its operation. Our engineers are actively working to resolve this issue. We understand that this causes inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience.
Support:
Our support service operates 24/7 and is staffed with qualified specialists. We continuously train our employees and improve our processes to provide you with the best service. We will certainly review your case and take steps to improve the quality of our responses.
looking good
So your response to IPv6 not working at all in the Norwegian location is... telling them to switch to another location? Instead of actually looking into the problem...?
Are you sure about that? It doesn't sound like it.
IQ Data has this same or similar issue as well. Not complaining, just reporting.
It's not me who is experiencing problems at this location, it's you who have problems at this location, as it's clearly an issue on your side. The screenshot above isn't my own assigned IP but the gateway IP, so IPv6 at this location doesn't work for anyone, not just me.
If this location isn't IPv6 ready, it's strange that you actually assign IPv6 to clients there.
Wouldn't the proper course of action be to deal with that instead of saying, "If you experience a problem, you can move elsewhere"? I know my options, but this does not address the reported issue.
Good.
I migrated from Dataline because of broken IPv6 to IQ Data, which also has broken IPv6. Then I tried Fjord, not the best location latency-wise (IQ Data would be perfect in this aspect), but IPv6 finally works there.
There are no problems with IQ Data Location, it works without any failures. However, if you have any problems, please contact our support team immediately. We are ready to help you at any time.

I contacted support two weeks ago. I can't check right now as I am on the vacations, but few days ago issue was still present.
The screenshot @Heinz posted above is GW IP from IQ data center I think, so it can't be user isolated issue.
But like said I can't check it right now if issue is fixed.
Edit.
It's still broken (for everyone)

I can confirm that there are IPv6 issues in russian web hosting, most of the IPv6 are not reachable via ping. Very frequently recently, test yourself:

What more do you need? Seriously, man, it’s starting to feel like we’re talking to a plant.
I just returned from vacation to find that my VPS in Oslo has been down for a 5 - 6 days and then reinstalled by the host. Yes, it was wiped and reinstalled.
@antonpa what the hell is going on with your company lately? Did your Oslo node fail, and you need to reinstall all the servers from scratch? I haven’t received any notification.
I’ve never complained in the past, but right now it seems like everything is falling apart, and it seems even you don’t know what’s going on.
So, can you explain in short, coherent sentences what happened to the Oslo node, why you wiped the VPSes, and why you didn’t think it was worth notifying clients about it?
Sorry but what an irony, a man who called me moron because I accused justhost.ru of data loss, fake advertisement and useless support now is experiencing exactly the same.
What can I say?
After initial arguments, I understand that providers, good and bad, pay to this forum, thus the moderators protect the payees.
First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced. I understand your frustration and disappointment, especially after returning from vacation.
Let me explain the situation: recently, we indeed encountered an issue with the Oslo node due to a RAID failure.
As for notifications, we always strive to promptly inform our clients about any outages and planned maintenance. I will check why you didn't receive a notification and will work to ensure that such misunderstandings do not occur in the future.
Once again, sorry for the inconvenience caused. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
I did not call you a moron because of that. If I remember correctly, you turned off the service renewal and then blamed the host for the expiration of your service (or it was just bug or something...). At the time, it was completely impossible to have a reasonable conversation with you.
Let me quote directly what I said:
As you can see, what I said and what you claim are actually different. I tried to move you from your rage-driven posting to a more productive discussion.
It's extremely hard to communicate with you when you try to enforce your own perspective.
But in any case, it's water under the bridge now. I am not willing to discuss your past relationship with this host, I am focused on addressing the present issues. My goal isn't to lash out at the host (I’ve used them for several years) but to clarify the present issues and then move on, hopefully still as their client.
No, I didn't turn off or cancel anything while you do remember what @antonpa had claimed exactly and correctly.
I was angry because @antonpa distorted my statement and played dumb while you assumed he was stating truth, which was not, and repeated what he had said, so I thought you were a mere shill, thus rude attitude towards you.
Obviously I should practise English writing more to make my writing understandable and appropriate. Anyway I have no intention to mock you, instead just want to help you or us make this thread conspicuous in the first page, otherwise @antonpa may not appear for another week. And thanks for mentioning IPv6 because IPv6 of its Russian web hosting is fixed after many days.
I wish you a better digital life.
