I'm sorry if you don't know the whole story or if your customer (if still) has not told you the situation as it was. But just FYI, if someone sign a contract with me, giving me "exclusive rights to access and manage" this means that during the contract, not even him has the right to access and/or manage the infra. As I am the only one legally responsible for that piece of infra.
How you accessed it is purely hacking as, for what I can remember, I didn't give you any credential.
I can assure you that I could have sued you for data breach as well as the person who gave you access. But I chosed not to. I was too happy to end that contract to care enough on wasting time to held you accountable for your actions or to demand money from you in court.
Hardware, sure, was owned by the rightful owner, but the software and logistic that ran on those hardware were not, as per the contract. Ask him to show you a copy of our contract if you're curious, I hereby waive my confidentiality clause with them for you.
As a result, I terminated all other services with that "someone" which I guess you took over.
Regarding the bold part, go back and re-read my reply to you as it was in a certain context, where you mocked people who want to learn and experiment with networks and AS numbers saying "they don't need AS numbers if singlehomed". There I outlined that you are also singlehomed and have an AS.
Rest is blah blah, I didn't bothered to read.
I couldn’t really giving a flying f
but any deals please @host_c @Calin
So you actually own Proxmox, Cisco NX-OS, Ethernet Layer 2 and 3 Protocols and so on? Respect.
So that is why you hi-jacked he's DNS servers, redirecting every domain hosted on he's infrastructure to Layer-Bridge webpage stating that the searched resource is suspended ?
Now I get it, so all the data of those customers was actually yours as long as you do the maintenance right?
You know what, this was fun, but I have other things to attend to.
No, because our contract doesn't state that we develop proxmox hypervisor. But the know-how, the configurations made, the way all those nodes worked flawlessly were the contract's object.
I doubt you don't know that, or if you really don't know, I am sorry for you.
Regarding the so called DNS hijack, it's a common practice for majority of providers to display a suspended page if their services were not paid when due.
The only one that hijacked services was you and now you come here to keep me morales about ethics. That's sad.
Take care!
This thread took a huge turn, I thought we are going to see some cool networking but it's opposite either way can you post more networking stuff and pictures of the new setup 😁
Why nobody consider using Huawei?
PTN-6900-M8 can push a lot of traffic and it has lots of ports or M16 which has even more
one of the biggest operators in RO extensively uses Huawei.
I have to say, I was really impressed on the $/port/performance on those devices.
EDIT:
Especially Huawei CE6863E-48S6CQ, and for a 3500 USD price point as new, I have to say nice
.
Trusting it is the problem for most I think.
I hope you all get the presents you want on Black Friday.
Huawei comes with complimentary Xi chip. This chip deducts social credits for porn traffic. So, it is a no go.
I liked seeing iHostArt offers more when it was in basement. It had this authentic smell of low-end. Now with rented space in datacenter, I don't like their offers anymore.
who is WE ?
@yoursunny can answer it in collaboration with @Void
