They are out of stock until I back (probably tomorrow) from my provider on the availability of hardware but I should be able to increase that for an extra £5 per year with the bandwidth remaining at 4TB.
any chance to upgrade to unlimited or 330TB traffic + 2gbps with extra fee annually?
Sorry I cannot really offer that on a sustainable package for the company.
This package is £4 (£3.40) per month after discount which is £40.80 per year
I could do these types of deals but within 2 months be closed and leave customers needing a new provider, I try to structure my packages at a fair price but sustainable for the company long term too.
Does it mean the current offer (£4 (£3.40) per month) is permanent recurring cost? including double speed configuration
Is this available @xHosts ?
which would have to be proven!
the discussion is somewhat reminiscent of the vds (dedicated cores) discussion.
i have a vps from a renowned provider here. it has unlimited traffic which means 330TB/month internally in the backend!
interesting what dubious ideas some people come up with.
Someone sends me $7 and I'll test out the 330TB theory.
I have multiple unlimited ingress servers that can sink the traffic.
That could possibly be seen as abuse to simply sink the traffic, legitimate traffic use is fine but to just “sink the traffic” is just pointless abuse at the end of the day.
I am working to see if this can be restocked once I have spoken with my servers provider when their sales team returns to office tomorrow
No need to test ... the answer is here.
Basically, if you use too much traffic your usage is considered abusive.
I have not said that but please do interpret how you wish, that is your option to do so.
By saying “sink the traffic” basically means abuse. Enjoy your sunday buddy
I'd say using the specified resources/limits isn't abuse, and that the customer can use the traffic for whatever he likes (as long as it isn't forbidden by laws/TOS). If you can't cope with customers actually using the traffic, you shouldn't offer it.
Yes, in my mind, the host shouldn't have to worry about what the traffic is being used for. He doesn't have to judge whether the user is using it in a way he thinks is relevant or not.
As long as it's legal.
Take it or leave it: make relevant offers that give the impression of dealing with a serious company.
Have a nice Sunday.
I have already sent all required proof for this offer to show that I do have the required capability without issues to the site admins for private review over 12 hours ago, this proves I am able to provide what is offered without question.
Have a nice day ahead.
Does this mean you're not going to suspend users for excessive bandwidth usage if they don't go over 330TB? Because to offer 330TB per month then claim any form of abuse if the bandwidth is used legally really would sound quite clownish...
Anyone can use the bandwidth upto 330TB as long as they are not abusing anything including CPU, their activity is legal and not being reported as abusive by any third party for example certain game currency mining which is breaking that games TOS if they make a report the client would be contacted to resolve the issue reported which is the same with any company but if you want to for example use it as VPN and use the full 330TB no issues if what you do is legal.
As stated I have sent private proof to site admins and waiting for a reply on the open ticket.
Thanks for a more definitive answer, I hope to see you hold up your end of this
Continuous iperf3 sender at 900 Mbps.
Destination is an IPv6 address that I own (abuse-c is myself), so that there wouldn't be abuse reports.
OK?
Compared to xhosts 5USD 2Gbps@330TB,
I think @oplink 's traffic offer (5USD for 10Gbps@50TB)is more friendly to themselves and our consumers,
I don't know Lumen traffic fee, if don't care about the vps hardware and IP, I think 5USD may just have 35TB, xhosts and oplink may both think we won't use all of the traffic and make money.
We were offered this transfer in Coventry UK other provider, and I think they did it maybe because some client would not reach that transfer because I'm sure if someone keeps you in case of a few minutes the transfer limit they will cancel the server or tell you to tell the client that they can't continue like this, we all look for sales by offering a good service but sometimes some get carried away by false marketing good luck I think sometimes the sales of false marketing only last the first month then they cancel the service even the same day because they only want the yabs to move on to other websites
I suggest you do a real transfer and you will see the difference
With such offers my BilohGlass shows me threads like:
"xHosts deadpooled"
"XHosts not working"
And many more like other providers here.
double storage invoice #5259
I sure will
no issue here> @nohavps said:
I have more than enough to cover the offer, the limited amount I sell on the offer.
It is all calculated, the allowances I have in place remove 25% of for emergency use then divided by the amount of VPS on the offer I posted.
As already stated, I have sent proof on the ticket to site admins of all this that I do in fact have the capability to provide what is offered on the thread wi the out question you still want to add your 2cents based on assumption not fact, but facts have already been provided to site admin and I assume the ticket is waiting for review.
When you know my agreements factually not using assumptions that maybe a good starting point.
Proof it happened or it has not happened.
I have added your double storage. Power off your server and back on in the control panel to apply it.
what is this double storage?
The offer from the original post
“ Choose between double storage or double connection (Upgraded to 2Gb/s) - just post your invoice number and your chosen upgrade”
For only 400/m you can bankrupt this hosting provider
sounds like a good deal to me
My host is down, and can't be restarted, please check. Invoice 5325🫡
Same here.
