I actively avoid PayPal because many UK banks/cards consider using PayPal an opt-out from the card protection schemes due it offering dispute resolution. Personally, I’d rather not be at whims of PayPal should I need to raise a dispute.
I ordered from eBay directly from China and I got the scam phone. It wasn't some counterfeit Samsung or iPhone, I needed a cheap one to have 5g and use as a router, but it was 3g, 1 gb ram instead of 8 and an old cpu with 4 cores which was hardly able to power the Android 6 masquerading as 11.
I filed a dispute and won, the guy insisted I send the phone back on my expense, I told him no and I kept that piece of junk which can be used to place calls and text but nothing much else.
It's beautiful! Windows 2000 = best Windows (i.e. the last one that didn't look like a toy for toddlers). My guess would be that it's just a desktop theme on some kind of Linux though (my desktop looks suspiciously similar), which is probably better as the real thing has been unsupported for quite a while by now.
Agree, peak GUI usability was Windows 98/2000/KDE3, any further progress that came after that made interfaces less usable, less informative, less controllable, less information-dense, or in one word, crappy.
BTW my PayPal case ETA just shifted forward by another week. Magic.
Same here, PayPal refused my chargeback and they stolen my physical dedicated server.

Have you tried submitting a ticket? His new support desk is amazing. He instantly closes tickets,but luckily you can reopen them. I had a ticket close / reopen streak for 3 days before I got bored.

I mean (in some not exactly overly ethical way) it might make some sense to just ignore all the service sucks and owner doesn't know what the fuck he's doing type of complaints and the drama that comes with those but sitting there silently taking people going around saying he literally stole their shit is a whole new level.
