(jk) -- I've had good luck with it in the past, and always weary when requested but this is about the 3rd time and the last 2 worked out fine. Disputed the amount with PP down to a penny and disputed the transaction with my bank as scam as well. Lesson learned.

I paid with F&F and didn't receive anything. I agree that, if this guy really has the HostBRR services he claim he does should be banned from @labze. Not a good advertisement for the service.

I also saw this flash deal shortly after it was posted, but missed it unfortunately.
I had checked OPs account before responding, although it's a month old -- they were commenting in the flash thread during the deals and had a YABs of the instance after the deal took place.. so I'm fairly certain they got at least one instance.

I think this is the first scam I've read since I've been here at LT, about transferring accounts.
And I was also aware that at some point this could happen, and now hold on the thieves will do this more often.
Because as I understand it, several people here have been scammed.

He could probably use (some) information from the YABS results, which could help him zero in on the user.
it is possible that he actually transferred the server to one of the buyers and kept money from others.

I’d love to see that. He said he had 2 servers, but he “sold” to 5-6? people. Its clear as day hes a scammer.
People, if I may say so, it surprises me that five of you each sent money -- was it $60? -- to the OP so readily and that no one waited until at least one service transfer was successfully completed
The OP had just fulfilled the minimal requirements to advertise a service transfer. He was effectively an unknown, with no record of reliability
In such a case, one needs to exercise more caution
Naturally, we're going to ban the OP (if he doesn't respond by 18:00 UTC today), but beyond this, I'm afraid that there isn't much that we can do, unfortunately

You are certainly right, but the offer was so good and the worry about losing it got me in the rush and trusted the guy...
Anyway if @labze could give us the same flash deal i'd be happy to have lost 60€ with the scam but at least got the server i wanted at this really good price
When I posted the SpartanHost $16 transfer, I received many messages offering to pay double.
MJJ loses their mind seeing high flying chickens.
The rule #3 for Service Transfers needs to be updated with stricter requirements such as:

Nobody can find a 30 days old account with at least 25 non-spammy posts to be reliable and trustworthy for their money.

Same, I mean.. it's a phenomenal deal and this is LET. Plus -- as mentioned by someone earlier, this type of thing doesn't happen here very often, fortunately.
I always pay by normal paypal (+ 6% extra to cover fees). If the seller insists on F&F, that is a red flag for me.
I treat that 6% extra as “peace of mind” insurance
And also hand over his info to LET mods so that they can coordinate with other providers to ban him from theirs as well and get added to FraudRecord etc.

Plot twist: He needed money for a Patron Provider tag.
How did up you report it? Usually their support tells you F&F is irreversible.
I did not pay f&f, he asked for it and i just assumed it was for the fee, so i sent extra money to account for it without asking, so i was extremely lucky i guess.
Though, if the account is suspended (as it most likely is, as my case was resolved instantly at 8am) the ones that paid with f&f can try to say they do not recognize the charge in paypal, i think that everything against a baned account is automatically accepted.
Saying that you don’t recognize the charge is smart!
