You could also check out https://purelymail.com/. Go to https://purelymail.com/advancedpricing and plug in your values which looks like you should be able to get 8*5=40 GB for under $20.

I haven't had the chance to use MXRoute yet but Purelymail has been working pretty well for me.

Do they have a custom web client? Or is it just roundcube?

  • someone ping me if mxroute drops deal here, also looking for mail host and current deal is good but need bit more (long time comittment as well)

dont want all my eggs in myw basket (or any single basket)

  • What about https://www.mymangomail.com ?

They finally got a web client.

Think they are still missing calendar features.

I kept mxroute.blackfriday going this year. The offers I kept up are sustainable and frankly by just keeping them in stock we completely avoided our yearly slow season.

    Hello,
I can recommend Google Gsuite, it's perfect, easy and perfect, we haven't had any problems for 5 years.

  • Infomaniak for emails. Best I have seen sofar, solid and value for money.

If you need free @yourdomain try Yandex.

fyi, spacemail / namecheap private mail are just "wrappers" around shared hosting.
nothing special, except you pay for every domain.
you can just buy shared hosting from them and get unlimited domain and more config options.

How do you know it is just a wrapper?

And what services are not just a wrapper?

Space mail is so much better than that IMO. If it's a wrapper for shared hosting it seems to be a pretty above average one.

What exact advantages do you see?

Much better interfaces and UX the whole way down than cPanel/DA. I would give my left nut to combine my backend with that kind of frontend.

How does Spaceship's front-end compare to Mango Mail's front-end (which you've also previously praised)?

I never finished trying out theirs. Can't say why just... My brain has the wheel and it doesn't always make sense.

I think they just wrote a wrapper for cPanel and place your domain there as if you were manually doing it.

You have 1 IP. On this IP they place other people.

Here is the text of abuse I receive when get a spam attack

    `
    Hello,

We are writing from the Namecheap Legal and Abuse team.

It has come to our attention that a lot of incoming emails are being queued on your PrivateEmail subscription.

This is to inform you that the incoming emails for the --@--.com mailbox have been blocked due to the email abuse that caused a negative impact on our email servers.

Please be informed that in order to unblock the incoming emails for the --@--.com mailbox it is required to specify what actions will be done from your side in order to avoid similar incidents in the future.

This is to inform you that the huge queue of incoming emails was noticed by our Technical Team (nearly 6000 emails). In order to mitigate the issue, we have been forced to block both the incoming and outgoing emails for the subject subscription.

In order for us to consider the block lifting, please look into the matter and provide us with the updates in regards to the actions taken towards the issue resolution.

6k email is huge and enough to suspend your mailbox.
    any competitor can sabotage you.

gsuite / mail.ru / yandex have never had any complaints about that.

  • GulfGulf Member

specify what actions will be done from your side in order to avoid similar incidents

this part is the best. lol what can I do, if I receive, not send this spam?

Our Cloud email servers have dedicated compute and no fair use limits as each customer gets their own little cloud email server. Our support can help with identifying and blocking the spammers so your compute resources are not wasted.

I highly doubt any of them are just wrappers to cpanel server Namecheap Private Email is based on Open-Xchange, last night I decided to look into Spacemail after you claimed it was a wrapper.

  • using mxroute since 4+ years with no issues at all.

if you need to send huge amounts of emails ElasticEmail is not bad

I just assume. I've never hacked them :D How can I know.
But I expected they would have like 100+ servers for such a workload.

Gmail will throw a ReceivingRate bounce to the sender if you receive more than 60 emails ps.
But they won't block you like NC. NC / space will suspend your account until you explain.
I've dropped NC, but thank you for logs. Will check.

    Inbound

If possible, can you PM me the exact domain you have there.
From what I see, it is absolutely the same way they deliver mail on shared hosting accounts.
The same IPs, same software, same jellyfish spam management.

It's Roundcube for webmail but you can use IMAP for other clients. There's a simple dashboard to manage users, domains and routing. The best part for me is there's an API @ https://news.purelymail.com/api/index.html so I use Raycast (raycast.com) with https://www.raycast.com/xmok/purelymail to manage. I have 16 domains with many users and routing rules. Let me know if there's anything else you wanna know but also you can sign up for a free trial if you want to try. I'm not affiliated, just a satisfied user.

someone ping me if mxroute drops deal here, also looking for mail host and current deal is good but need bit more (long time comittment as well)

dont want all my eggs in myw basket (or any single basket)

I kept mxroute.blackfriday going this year. The offers I kept up are sustainable and frankly by just keeping them in stock we completely avoided our yearly slow season.

we both know there isnt better offer and we both know it's best of the best (but still was hoping for a upgrade/slightly better deal :)

    planning to order today

    quick question about BF2023 Medium
    1. can i store whatever i desire in that 25GB? (as long as it's legal)
    2. would it be upgradable in the feature (in 1.5 years to be exact)

    Not @jar, but most likely...
    1. as long as you don't ring any obvious bells, he won't care
    2. you're free to order a new plan and migrate yourself. however, mxroute doesn't do migrations so that'll be on your own.

    thanks
racknerd has some weird policy regarding data (will make a thread in few months), while myw does not care, like, at all

i hope there will be upgrade path down the line, tho i like multiple accounts tbh

can their service do more than mail? what functionality do i have?

    @DeadlyChemist said: upgrade path

This has been mxroute's policy for years now. I doubt it'll change.

    @DeadlyChemist said: more than mail

What kind of functionality are you looking for? It's plain old DA with some features hidden/disabled

    1. It should relate to the software that we provide and with the use cases intended. Crossbox has Nextcloud in it and that pretty well lets you store anything. But if you're sneaking around to do something weird and unprecedented, it may not survive. I don't want to elaborate on that because I don't want to give people ideas.

    2. At any time you can upgrade to our front page plans.

I thought the API was for email but it's just for management. Thanks for the info anyways.

Ah my bad, I thought you had signed up since our last private conversation some months ago even though there was no clear indication of it now that I re-read the messages. 🤦‍♂️
