if the storage is the limiting factor, I believe you can upgrade the storage 50GB additional for Euro 2.50 and 100GB for 5 euros/month

I just wonder two things;
1. Are those disk speedtests okey? Its two SSD and to get more perfomance its with raid 0.
2. Server is in The netherlands but "IP Lookup" shows either USA (like in yabs) or Germany. Is this something I can change? Don't like the looks of it.
Thumbs up for the network upgrade they did this week! There were times when upload speeds didnt go faster than 500mbit/s but so far it looks better. Lets hope it stays that way

. Well, you cannot expect a Ryzen/Threadripper/Epyc with 1Gbps unmetered for 33 euro a month. If pushing bandwidth is all you need, an entry level Xeon E3 or even an X series will still do a pretty good job.
You would be suprised what can still be done on such an older server, especially when you pop in a little SSD.
And for those that need more there are always faster systems available, and more options will get added over the next weeks/months. But yeah, not for 33 euro a month with 1Gbps unmetered
We rather make some people happy with bargain deals if we have leftover hardware on the shelf anyway that already made their money after the initial investment years ago. Plenty of people around with a small pocket looking for something very specific (like pushing bandwidth). Throwing equipment in the scrap bin or make design furniture from old servers can always be done at a later stage
Hey, you can't knock it when there are other hosts that are selling servers with Opteron, Intel Atoms and even Core 2 Duos lol. If it works, it works. I'm glad someone is putting these old perfectly working cpus to good use. Less ewaste and I get some dedicated cores and 1Gbit unmetered at a super low price.
I've test our Hi-CPU VPS. We just upgrade nodes from SSD to NVMe (price remain unchanged):
