We are opening a hosting business

My anxiety has finally worn off. Thank you for all the support.

My UK based employer is planning to open a hosting business. Focused of WordPress. We are looking to offer shared hosting and managed VPS servers.

My question is, are there any resource that you can recommend me on setting up a hosting business? I have concerns over, getting the required number of ipv4s, selecting the best hypervisor etc.

Thank you.

    I don't know about VPS.
but If webhosting, maybe try "reseller hosting" first. (namecrane is cheap for starting i think!)
Or if you want to host it yourself on your server.
Probably large storage vps with 1 IPv4 is only required.(if not offer dedicated IPv4)
    (or dedicated server!)
I do not know about hypervisor, Sorry.

For recommend provider, I think OVH is good. (they have KYC but)

But I think newer generation cpu with 4 ~ 8gb ram is minimum.

For sell VPS, You will need many IPv4(s) and costs high. so maybe be a reseller of some providers.
For example Time4VPS offer VMWare Cloud that everything is customizable.
    https://www.time4vps.com/vmware-cloud/

    Good Luck!

Totally depends on the budget you have.

You'll also need to choose the following:
    1. Location of the server
    2. The provider of the server/colocation provider
    3. The server itself, and the power of the server
    4. Which control panel will you use [DirectAdmin/cPanel]
    5. The web server [apache/nginx/openLiteSpeed/LiteSpeed Enterprice]
    6. The mail relay provider

This should be the most important part of it. Good luck on your journey.

And then you decided, let's start a hosting company after taking your medicine ? If so, you need to go back and ask for other medicines.
