It's a great question. But I am sure what comes out of it with the new dstafdntee will be fantastic after the initial kinks are ironed out.
In regards to the current state of things, we have managed to fully mitigate the attack however the mitigation might filter legitimate traffic also while on going. Open a ticket if you are affected then we'll see what we can do.

I have the flash sale and the server started to go offline every 20 minutes to one hour for a few seconds to a minute. I'll just wait how things are going in the next few days. Deal is awesome and I bet the attacker might be losing interest sooner or later. Thanks for this incredible offer.
I am also having connection issues and I accidentally reinstalled the whole OS because of the VirtFusion error which just had a "try again" button even though the OS was already installed. I am not too fussed about losing the data since I was just using it to run a Minecraft server and we didn't progress far. The VirtFusion panel seems to be working now but the VPS itself is having connection issues. I have already opened a ticket so I will wait for a response.
My server is down... I'm really looking forward to getting it back to work. The ticket is open.
At the same time, I consider HostBrr one of the best here.
I am investigating all these issues. Appreciate the patience shown by you all on this, clearly this is not the quality that should be offered.

I know that he is putting hard work to solve this problem.
I do spend a lot of time on the forums. But that is also because I am on the move a lot and not every ticket can be handled from my phone. Right now there is a lot to handle with migrations, tickets and so forth.
It is indeed not the best time to be a client of mine, but I do want to ensure that every person gets proper and personalized support, even when I'm juggling a lot of issues.
I also want to be upfront, both for old a new clients. The DDOS rotation lasted almost 2 weeks last time, and there are no guarantee that this will not repeat itself. So I am working hard to migrate every client where possible and within 2 weeks it should have be possible for all. I am not entirely leaving Hetzner, but for the majority of services I will. This situation is not acceptable and if you are affected by it do not be afraid to either seek compensation once resolved or get a refund if the current state is not good for you.
Hetzner is well known for poor DDoS protection, it is what it is
In general I've had good experiences with their DDOS protection. But it does seem like you can tailor attacks to bypass their mitigation.
Can we expect a price hike due to this migration? As I understand it, DDoS protection is not cheap.

It's been up and running long now.
It's indeed a success. I don't know what the motive is though, but it's helping me build a better service moving forwards. Brick by brick as the saying goes but I am sorry that it has to affect clients at the moment.
I am migrating clients on a case by case basis so far to Frankfurt. In a few weeks most if not all services should be there. Just don't have the capacity at the moment for all.
But it'll be awesome with 10 Gig up link and Auralogic DDOS protection.

It's a pity bad people try to ruin a beautiful project, I bought the hosting already 1 week ago and without problems, and very cheap.

But I am decided to buy one more VPS, but I read about the attacks. I will wait a little longer,
