The LXC offerings are perfect for a small service or 2 (vpn, wireguard, chat bots, uptime/health checks etc). Network performance is surprisingly good. The older kernel isn't a problem for me, and somewhat expected in an LXC offering, but hopefully does get an occasional update. My only real issue is the lack of IPv6, which sounds like should be included soon from a comment earlier in this thread.

I bought a Starter LXC in order to run a US VPN.
I have only very basic knowledge and have had some trouble getting the VPN running. (My fault)
The server setup was super quick and easy. I had some trouble installing the VPN because I tried using a script that apparently only runs on KVM servers.
However, in the end, I used the built-in "Recipes" to auto-install the WireGuard Client, and it runs now! Which is great
Given my greater familiarity with KVM servers, I probably should have chosen the Micro KVM, but things are as they are for now. I saved a few bucks, so there is that lmao
I honestly don't even know which resource I should double, so I guess I think about that and come back. (In case that offer is still available.)
